Breath of the Wild Hardest shrine to find?

There were several shrines that were behind a bombable section of rock that were difficult to find. The censor had a wide range and I seemed to wander around awhile before finding a hidden crevice of bombable rock.

Breath of the Wild Which tower made you throw your controller the most?

Ridgeland Tower, I wanted to open the entire map early in the game. I died so many times before killing enough electric lizalfos and wizzrobes to get to the top.

Breath of the Wild Your Main Outfit

Champions Tunic, Hylian Hood, and the Climbing trousers. The sheikah set is a close second.

Breath of the Wild Will you be using the wolf link amiibo?

I don't have a Wii U so no TPHD for me. However, now that you can buy wolf link amiibo separate from the game, does anyone know if you can use it in Breath of the Wild?

When you're not waiting for Zelda

While waiting for Breath of the Wild I decided to give Metroid Prime a go. Turns out that was a great decision, I am really enjoying the game and now it has opened up a new Nintendo franchise for me.

    Exploring the Unexplored

I would like to see the Picori explored more, even if it is just one Picori as a side character that helps Link.

    Favourite Zelda deity

The Wind Fish and Din the Oracle

    Favourite Zelda landmark?

Mt. Tamaranch from Links Awakening. The mountain with the windfish egg on top always stood out to me.
  9. WindFishTacos

Should Nayru and Din feature in other games?

I would love to see all three oracles featured in newer games. Or at least make an Oracle of Secrets game featured around Farore.

Am I the only one who prefers 3D Zelda games?

I always thought most people prefer 3d because they are longer and you get to play them on a bigger screen. I personally like 2D better for the portability aspect. I guess the switch will be the best of both worlds.

Does right vs. Left handed Link matter?

Being left handed, I always thought it was cool that Link was also left handed. Lefty's use their brains differently than righty's which I attribute to how link can figure out puzzles and always outsmart Ganon and win in the end. Since each link is a new reincarnation, I think it makes sense...

    Favorite 3D Zelda Game

Yes I think you are right. I actually do enjoy playing Majoras mask, I just wish it wasn't timed. It's not bad for side quests, I just don't like it when I'm in a dungeon. I try to 100% them, so I feel rushed with the clock ticking down and I'm trying to figure out puzzles and find all of the...

Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch Release Bundle Rumors - What would you want to see?

I agree, the NX bundle should come with one of the new amiibos and a hard copy of the game. Also, I hope the console itself is Zelda themed like the WW HD version of Wii U with the Hylian crest on it!
  14. WindFishTacos

Breath of the Wild Will we see Link's iconic tunic in BotW?

I think the green tunic will definitely make an appearance. This game is supposed to allow you to wear different clothes. Since it is not the outfit you start with they probably didn't want to give away that it is a reward later in the game for completing some quest.

The thing in Zelda you love but everyone hates

Breath of the Wild My thoughts on it

I see your point that in the adult timeline after Wind Waker I'm not ruling out that 100 years later the flood could die down and a new hero could emerge. This would explain why all the building were partially destroyed and the master sword and other metal objects are all rusty now.
  18. WindFishTacos

Breath of the Wild Heart increase methods?

I liked getting a heart container when you finish each dungeon. Hopefully this feature will still be in BOTW if the individual pieces of heart are not.
  19. WindFishTacos

Breath of the Wild Should i preorder or wait?

I would wait at least to see what the NX offers that the Wii U version doesn't. Especially if you are planning on getting an NX anyway.

How old were you when you got into Zelda

I believe I was around 9 when I got a gameboy color and a copy of links awakening dx. That is still my favorite game to date and I fell in love with the series ever since.
  22. WindFishTacos

    So...What Next?

If they do stick with the open world concept from now on I hope it is only for the 3d Zelda games. Since the NX will be the new handheld and console, I hope they continue to make 2D top-down "handheld" Zelda games in addition to the huge 3d world Zelda games. I've always loved the top down style...

Breath of the Wild Stereotypical what are you most excited for topic.

I am most excited to just explore the huge world. Specifically, the rock climbing mechanic. Once I purchase an NX I feel I will be able to get my money's worth out of this game; I should be happy exploring the huge map for a long time and not buy other games for awhile.

Breath of the Wild My thoughts on it

I'm with you there, I think BOTW will be in the adult timeline with Wind Waker. Makes sense to keep the Koroks in the same timeline.
  25. WindFishTacos

Where does everyone think Breath Of the wild will be on the timeline?

I thought I read in an interview that there would be Koroks in BOTW. For this reason I would put it on the adult timeline with Wind Waker right before the flood.

If You Could Meet Any Zelda Character, Who Would It Be?

I would like to meet any of the Gorons. They are such a unique race, plus we could sit around in the hot springs and chill.

    choices, choices

I agree, there are so many more games you have available to you with the 3ds. I'm pretty sure you can play all of these games on the 2ds, they are going for 80$ I think. If you aren't in a rush you could wait until March for the NX. I'm assuming you could get all of the games digitally for NX...

If You Could Destroy One Zelda Enemy, Who would it be?

Like-likes. If there's a red rupee just sitting there it is probably too good to be true. Don't steal my shield you giant haystacks!

Is spirit tracks worth my time?

I wouldn't say spirit tracks is at the top my favorite Zelda title list. But it still is a Zelda title and is enjoyable to play. I wouldn't recommend spending the money to purchase a 3ds solely for this game, if you do there are plenty of other great Zelda titles that I would recommend buying...

A Link Between Worlds - Underappreciated?

I loved this game, the art style is fantastic. Merging onto the walls opened up a whole new way of thinking to figure out puzzles. Playing the dungeons in any order was a nice feature. I wasn't a huge fan of renting items, I would save up and buy them. The game offered plenty of rupees to make...

    Game with the best items

That's true, I was looking forward to more spinner puzzles after that dungeon but you don't get to use it much in the rest of the game.

    A 1st Person Zelda Title..?

No thank you, no FP for me. Zelda wouldn't be the same without you watching link roll, jump, swim, lunge with sword, grab edges and pull himself up. Although maybe this would calm people down about not seeing Link in his iconic green tunic in BOTW :P
  33. WindFishTacos

    Favorite Zelda Song

I agree with this entire statement. Gerudo Valley is up there in top Zelda songs for me as well, and all of Taylor Davis's video game music violin covers are amazing. The main WW ocean theme is up there pretty high for me as well. Hearing the Symphony of Goddesses play it made me very happy.
  34. WindFishTacos

Unified console = less Zelda games

I certainly hope the NX is not the end for 2D Zelda games. I grew up playing all of the gameboy color games first and the top down style is still my favorite way to play Zelda.

    Design a mobile Zelda app/game

Definitely would need to be a logic puzzle based game. Other than that I'm not sure.

Who is Your Favorite(nonessential) NPC ?

I liked the King of Red Lions. He was such a helpful companion, and I did not see it coming when he turned human. (I'm also calling him a NPC, not counting him in Hyrule Warriors.)
  37. WindFishTacos

Favorite/Least Favorite Dungeon in Twilight Princess?

Favorite: Arbiter's Grounds. The spinner was the most fun item to use in the game and it is so different from any other item in the Zelda universe. Least Favorite: Lakebed Temple. I don't remember it being too difficult, just not as enjoyable to play through.
  38. WindFishTacos

    Game with the best items

I agree Twilight Princess had some cool unique items. The spinner is by far the best item I've seen yet in a Zelda game. That dungeon was so much fun riding the tracks up the wall.

    Opinions on Midna?

I love Midna, top of the list for Links companions. She was a well developed character. I dunno if anyone else felt this way, but the whole game (until the end) I was wondering who is the twilight princess, is it Midna or Zelda?
  40. WindFishTacos

    Favorite 3D Zelda Game

    1. Wind Waker (so fun and adventuresome!) 2. Twilight Princess (close 2nd) 3. Ocarina of Time (great story) 4. Skyward Sword (enjoyable but a little frustrating with mechanics at times) 5. Majora's Mask (do not like being timed)
  41. WindFishTacos

The end of an art style

I don't think we'll see the true realistic TP art style again. It seems with SS and BOTW the direction they are heading would be similar to TP but more lighthearted as if some WW was mixed in.
  42. WindFishTacos

    Favorite Deity

I really like the backstory behind the three Oracles. It was cool that you got to meet them in human form in Seasons and Ages. I wish they did make a third game all about the Oracle of Secrets (Farore). That would be a really cool throwback if they made it into a 3DS game, better late then never!
  43. WindFishTacos

Tri Force Heroes Triforce Heroes is the Hardest Zelda Game

I agree TFH is difficult. Be it with teammates that don't cooperate or single player and you can't switch dopples fast enough. The end boss was tricky as single player.
  44. WindFishTacos

Amiibos in The Legend of Zelda series!

I don't have a Wii U and my 3ds doesn't support amiibos. I would get wolf link if I could buy it standalone. Maybe Nintendo will make this happen when BOTW releases.
  45. WindFishTacos

What is your favorite way that Link wakes up?

It's a tie between waking up to little sister in WW and thinking Marin is Zelda in LA.

What are Zelda fans actually called?

    Hylians or Hyrulians.

Best and Worst smelling Zelda characters.

Worst smelling: Yeto the yeti from twilight princess. I doubt he showers ever, plus he eats smelly reekfish and pumpkin goat cheese soup. Best smelling: tempted to say Zelda since she is a princess, but then again she dresses up as a man to hide her royalty. I am going with the Gorons because...

If you could choose to live in any area/place from the Zelda series, where would you pick?

I would definitely choose to live in a town from Breath of the Wild (don't know the name of any of the towns yet). It looks so peaceful (ignoring the monsters running around) and I love the mountain scenery. One of my hobbies is rock climbing so that's what I would spend my time doing, very...

    The origin of the Minish

After playing the minish cap I thought the backstory of the picori was really neat and a fun way of explaining why you find rupees under rocks or when your cut grass. I was under the impression they are in every game because of this, you just don't see them because link doesn't shrink down to...
