    I Can't Get Over This

Looks and sounds great certainly, but I'm sick of Nintendo milking the remakes. Something like ALBW is to LTTP or TP is to OoT is always welcome, but I did not think WWHD was necessary, and TPHD is kind of insulting for the price they want. We have the Virtual Console and collection packs, which...

Foods you can no longer find but desire

^ I see Sobe in Canada and the US, but they replaced Sobe Lean with Zero Lifewater (I think that's what it's called?) so I haven't really bought any. I swear I saw the Pina Colada ones recently though, I'll have to check again. That reminds me, I miss the Fuze drinks too. Those were...

What do you think of having nearly all the lands on one big map someday?

In a land where Time itself was destabilized and the Universe began to crumble, the three major timelines created by Princess Zelda and the legendary Hero of Time warped and blurred. As the barriers separating these alternate realities began to break, various aspects of these realities began to...

The Official Legend of Zelda Timeline Has Been Updated

TFH is a fourth timeline split where the royal lineage intermarries with the Kardashians and everyone starts sniffing a lot of glue.

The Lost Woods, a crossroads to different dimensions?

Yes, this makes perfect sense. Presumably it's called the "Lost Woods" because of all the people who went in and never returned, or returned many years later with a bunch of crazy stories that no one actually believes. The Kokiri idea of people getting lost and becoming Stalfos makes sense in...

    No Evacuation?

Definitely a case of not realizing the danger until it was too late. Besides, any entity who would have been responsible for organizing a mass evacuation (royal family, soldiers, etc) were either completely dismantled or undermined by Ganondorf before he went public.

Is it possible Zelda is a mother?

It's not canon, but my understanding is that Zelda's bloodline is sacred. So most (if not every) incarnation of Zelda we meet would have to reproduce at some point.

Where does Clock Town get its water?

Well water, naturally. With all the other relatively sophisticated technology they have, I'm sure they could purify it somehow. Though maybe the whole game is actually a mass delusion brought on by lead and hallucinatory fungi in the town's water, and the Moon is an allegory for the...

Reverting to Older Methods of Doing Things

^ If this is a common practice, then that might explain the smell of my building.

Foods you can no longer find but desire

Pepsi Jazz. I knew it was limited edition and drank so much of the strawberry variety that the thought of it makes me feel slightly nauseous, but the cherry vanilla and caramel types were great. Same with diet cherry vanilla Coke and diet Pepsi Twist. More baffling is that the diet lime...

    Public Toilets

I have colitis so I can't always afford to be picky. Of course this also means I have pretty good knowledge of where the cleanest/most private/least offensive toilets are located most of the time. I still refuse to use a portable toilet, but since I don't tend to frequent places where...

Does "lewdness" n butts in video games disturb you?

Lewdness or sexualized characters don't really bother me in themselves, but games/movies with female characters who are absolutely useless apart from serving as an oversexualized, simple-minded plot device kind of bother me a little. Video games have actually been pretty good about this though...

    Crash Bandicoot to return?

I loved the Crash series, but upon playing the classic games again recently, they really don't hold up very well. Platforming while trying to gauge depth perception with clunky controls and PS1 graphics was far more difficult than I remember. New Crash platformers would need to take a Super...

    Should Amiibos be sustained?

I'm not a collector and I don't particularly enjoy toys or knick knacks. Spending ~$20 a pop on these little tchochkes isn't my thing. I was initially opposed to them on principle, but seeing how much people seem to love the damn things, I can't really fault Nintendo for cashing in for as long...

    Favourite character voices?

All of the English voices in Castlevania SotN. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the internet has the same appreciation for the so-bad-it's-good cheesiness of that game's voiceovers.

Reverting to Older Methods of Doing Things

I also live in one of my city's crappiest housing projects. The loud music, domestic disputes, gun violence, drugs, and constant odor of pipe tobacco and piss I can ignore. Having no running water half the time and no hot water 75% of the time... that's more difficult to deal with. Usually I...

I think they became cuccos, similarly to how some of the only surviving theropod dinosaurs evolved into modern birds. :yoshi:

TPHD-Wii U WWHD 1.6 million units sold. What is to be expected of TPHD.

I don't think it will. Even with the improvements, I'm pretty sure having WWHD as a launch title for the Wii U boosted sales far beyond what they would have been had it been released in, say, 2014. Not much in TP needed improvement gameplay wise, and the graphical difference is negligible IMO...

    Favorite/Least Favorite Character

Favorite: Malo the ambiguously evil capitalist genius baby. Admittedly Link was the main financial backer but I got a kick out of the little guy hustling everybody. Malo putting the rich Castle Town store jerk out of business was worth all the rupees I had to dig up. Plus the Malo Mart music is...

TPHD-Wii U Is TP really worth the full price of a new game?

Not as much of a lazy cash grab as the Mario All Stars Anniversary Edition, but TP:HD amounts to a texture pack that costs 80 freaking dollars. I picked up my copy of TP used for $15 in (I think) 2009, for comparison. It was the Wii version but I personally had no problem with that. Sorry...
