Definitely nothing wrong, as far as we're concerned. Emotions are complicated stuff, it's hard to ever really understand them. Media is definitely designed to bring out specific feelings in us, and sometimes that makes it easier to relate and get in touch with other pent up emotions.

Personally, I'd rather play as Shiek, Tetra or Impa in a stand alone game. Not that I'm against a cannon female Link, but I would just prefer to see other characters get more attention, as some other people have said. Still, anything that gives players more choice is a cool idea.

@ReveredPartisan It would definitely be interesting to see a Zelda game that only had a "bad" ending, something dark that directly ties into the downfall and the Great Flood. It would be sad to see the Hero of Time fail, but definitely something new and different.
