I think it looks so different because a lot of features are so much bigger. The mouth, the nose, the area around the eyes, for example. A part of me kind of likes the new look... it's got a more menacing expression to it than the original. In this setting, I think that could help a lot.

Before I knew what walkthroughs were, OoT was the one game I got stuck on and quit halfway through. I was at Zora's domain,and had no idea at the time how to open up Jabu Jabu. Needless to say, years later when I tried the game again realized I just needed a fish, I felt incredibly stupid.

Multiple options for transport in a game like this would be fantastic. If the world is as large as it is, even with Epona it will take quite some time to traverse it, which may get tiresome or boring if it's too sparse or empty. There's bound to be some form of faster travel later in the game...

In 3D World at least, I always played Toad. It was just so fun to run fast and I felt more comfortable with his shorter jumps. I usually don't play Luigi because he feels just too floaty for me. Wario with his transformation abilities in his games(Wario Land) is really fun to play too.
