Why does everyone care about the magic meter? Frankly, I think it's useless and bogs down gameplay. I prefer unlimited spells that are less obvious how to use them. (excuse the grammar fail)

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is the most underrated game ever! It's amazing! It's a full DK adventure with a brand new type of scoring system, albeit with weird controls.

While I agree with the rest of your post, 3D Dot Game Heroes is a PS3 exclusive for a reason. While it is not developed or published by sony, it still has an exclusivity deal with them, so sony DOES have some involvement.

There are so many amazing releases this year that I simply had to make this thread. I think I would have to go with Halo: Reach. It just looks incredible. My second choice would probably be Mario Galaxy 2.

I don't care if 3d dot Game Heroes is a zelda rip-off, I'll still be buying it and enjoying it. I don't give a F*CK if games have the nintendo label on it at all, as long as they're quality. Nintendo just happens to make games that I love.

My first was Wind Waker, and it was life-changing. It's now my favorite game of all time, and I consider it the game that jumped me from casual gaming to hardcore gaming.

I absolutely disagree with this. I know I've only been playing since the 1990's, but in my book gaming in general has only gotten better. Old games like the original zelda are nigh-unplayable to some because of the extreme quality of new games.

I absolutely adore AVGN. One of my fondest memories is about a year ago when myself and 3 of my best friends got back to our hotel room after a tour of Washington DC for our 8th grade trip. We stayed up till 1 in the morning watching AVGN and laughing our immature butts off.
