I really think they just died out. It would have been mentioned if there were any in game. With that whole ridge suddenly appearing, they were pretty much left stuck, not able to get any food. And no sexual partners led to their eventual extinction.

I highly believe that Death Mountain will be in SS. It almost has to be, cause a mountain wouldn't form in 100 years. and being set in original Hyrlule and being before OoT, it wouldn't make sense if Death Mountain wasn't in SS.

I honestly do think we will see them. As we get more and more info about the game, it seems to be driven by not just a new control system, but a deep story. ANd the Sheikah would add much more depth to the story.

I'm guessing that we will see the Shiekah, along with possibly "Kakariko Village" or whatever it may be called in this game with all the Shiekah living there. In OoT, it is said that the village used to be all Shiekah, but Impa opened it up to everyone. That would be pretty interesting to see.

I really think we will see the Wii U in maybe a year. Possibly longer. So no worries.

That was TP, which takes place years after OoT and SS. It wouldn't make sense for there to be a factory when there wasn't one in OoT, a game that takes plave AFTER SS.

OoT is not overrated. Not by a long shot. It is still a great game.
