When I am able to do a sidequest I usually get that completed while Im completing the main quest itself. I however don't bother to go out of my way to get every single heart piece all the time or gold skulltula and such.

Last time I checked you HAVE to leave the Wooden sword behind (plus you need both the Ordon Sword and Master Sword to even progress without cheating). And that is just a normal wooden shield you can buy later, not the Ordon Shield.

It would not have to be a turned based RPG like FF to be a RPG. The Legend of Zelda series is actually considered an action/adventure/RPG game. It runs off an action based formula.

Well, the Shadow Temple is actually meant to be first, the Lens of Truth being a required item and all (the Hover Boots not so much, but are really useful). Plus it only makes sense to visit Ganondorf's homeland and battle his Mother(s) right before going up against him.

Maybe you shouldn't mention her not being the sword at all in your post if you didn't want it mentioned whatsoever. Anyways, Link using another weapon aside from a sword would be nice and all, but it wouldn't feel like Zelda...more like Golden Axe Warrior.
