This!
And definitly this, I've never really been a fan of heart pieces, there's so many of the things that when collecting them I feel "oh another token heart piece" and it's easy to over power Links health. I enjoyed collecting containers in the first two games when they were in the overworld...
I'm a bit mixed with this one, another couple of days would be great for completing temples but it would make the overworld more complicated and dragged out.
Besides wallmasters/floormasters and like likes it would have to be the appropriately named fokkas from AoL, particularly the blue ones.
So many times I've cruised through the Great Palace with near full health and magic and then had my a** handed to me on a plate by one of these chaps...
I think the ihateghirahim (I enjoy reading your posts) post was aimed at me, I did the first MM vote yesturday. I was going to write up a small post afterwards but had to go out.
I understand MM's story and style completely but it doesn't mean I have to like it. I enjoy AoL yet it gets hammered...
I use both depending on how many heart containers I have. Early in a game a fairy can easily recover all or most of your heart containers but later on they can't fill enough of them which is detrimental against a hard boss or dungeon.
In the later stages of a game when I have most of the heart...
He's creepy/evil alright. On my first play through I was waiting for the twist that he was going to be the true villain after he got the mask back but it didn't happen that way.
I think I need about three heart pieces to get all my heart containers. I gave up with Gold Skulltulas after about 55 after hearing the reward at 100 isn't worth all the trouble.
I didn't know you can get a cow in Links house  I'm pretty sure I need an arrow quiver and there's bound to be...
I found Thunderbird in Zelda 2 the hardest, all the jumping and slashing while avoiding the fireballs. Without enough magic to use the Life Spell I got slaughtered alot before finally defeating him. I got sick of continuously going through the Great Palace only to get to Thunderbird with one or...
I found the Water Temple as a whole more harder than the Great Bay Temple. The first couple of play throughs I had I got stuck for ages looking for a couple of small keys and Shadow Link gave me a decent scrap. The boss was far too easy though.
I didn't find the Great Bay Temple puzzles and...
That's a great tip Techy :)
To build levels early I usually go through a palace a couple of times (before defeating the boss) or go through death mountain. Of course not something a first time player would be too keen on doing!
What is a duo team?? Are you both using the same game file.
It's probebly one of two things:
1. You've built up your points and you've lost all three lives, once you die your experience points reset back to zero.
2. You've built up your points and you've "leveled up". Your magic, health or...
