Regarding the bloodline factor: That might not actually be true. Refer to the beginning of SS, in which Fi states that the oral tradition is the most unreliable. I think this is a factor that must be applied to all theories.

I would have to say SS is the best Zelda game, OoT in second. The game could have been much better, though. One of the main reasons for me is replay value, I am currently on my 6th SS playthrough, as opposed to OoT which I have only completed four or five times in the last 1.4 decades.

Agreed, in older Zelda games, the bow would always be assigned a button for me, and I would constantly use it. I consider it Link's secondary weapon.

I would prefer the shortcuts that can be created in Skyward Sword. However, I feel that they should be harder to access and less oblivious.

Isn't the main purpose of a shield to protect yourself? Does the Hylian shield perform that task? No. Therefore, I go with the Kokiri shield.

Maybe it wasn't the same Master Sword? Think about it, OoT Link places the Master Sword back in the Pedestal of Time in the Child Timeline. So how did it reappear in the Adult Timeline? And what canonical reason can be given other than this for why it is shorter in WW?

The motion controls are awesome and imperfect. The imperfectness is fine, however, because swordplay in SS was revolutionary and fun. Anyways, I didn't really have problems with it, I had to recalibrate here and there, but I was fine.

I would have to say the Shadow Temple from Ocarina of Time. All the secrets of the dungeon having to do with the Lens of Truth is real confusing without a guide.

I totally agree with you. That is a big factor as to why TP is my least liked 3D game. I am worried about future Zelda games because I really want a character like SS's Zelda

Maybe Hylia found the Triforce and hid it in the Tower of the Goddess. I know we have no knowledge of how someone lower than the three golden goddesses can "maintain" the Triforce, but I believe it is possible.

I liked the Thunder Dragon Quest. The bosses in this game were incredible and had excellent replay value.

I think it is just a little reference, can't really say if they are direct ancestors. It's like the equipment salesman and the Happy Mask Salesman.

I would have to say Koloktos. Every other boss has a strategy, and an effective way not to get hit. This is the only one that does not have the latter.

I enjoyed the ending, especially the fact that it didn't answer much. The ending leaving you hanging is the Zelda tradition, what would a Zelda game be if they just flat out told you everything that happened in detail? The ending is supposed to leave you with questions so you can articulate on...

I think the Isle of the Goddess (I think that is the name) provided the power to keep Skyloft suspended in midair. Maybe it was the triforce, but whatever. Since the magic slowly faded from the main island, the Skyloftians had to build those rotors seen in Twilight Princess to keep it in the air.

Zelda's slumber is a time paradox. However, if you look through the two doors in the Sealed Temple during the beginning of the game, you will notice that Zelda is there. She was keeping Demise from taking on his true form.

If you have played through the beginning of the game, I'm sure you know that Groose and his pals kidnap Link's loftwing. Watch the opening cinematic, among the beautiful music and introduction of Skyloft, you'll notice that they are chasing after Link's loftwing. Hmmm.....

At first, no. SS didn't garner the emotion that OoT did during the beginning of the game. However, towards the end, specifically a certain cutscene which occurs after you enter a portal, turned this into my favorite game.
