In 2009 it was:
Majora's Mask
Ocarina of Time
The Wind Waker
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Mario Kart: Double Dash/Mario Kart Wii
Dragonball Z: Budakai Tenkaichi 3
Super Mario Galaxy
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy
Luigi's Mansion
Lol Chevy said this too, except for the part that he died in battle by going back to Termina.
I think this is a really common theory actually and most people adopt it as true.
Started the original Final Fantasy VII a week ago. I slept on it for so long, now that I am playing it, I regret avoiding it.
Still playing Okami HD too but priority right now is finishing FF VII.
I definitely don't see it releasing this year. Most likely it will be next year. I think we'll know for sure in a few months in a Direct if the plan is to release Q1 2025.
I'm more interested in the first party lineup during the launch window, and I'd prefer they take time to make it solid...
Nier: Automata - 9/10
It's among the most satisfying gameplay experiences that I've ever had. The story and soundtrack being fantastic too rounds this game into a non-stop thrill. It's no wonder it was a Game of the Year nominee in 2017. I cannot recommend it enough.
Life is Strange - 8/10
It...
I guess alligator, it tastes kind of like chicken but chewier and with a bit of a seafood flavor. Can't think of anything else I've had that is uncommon.
I don't get something new too often, but I do often enough to pick every now and then. I'd rather try something once to see if I'll like it instead of never knowing. Depends on the situation though. If I'm not going to have an opportunity to eat again later on in case I end up disliking...
We have a 70 inch 4K tv in our living room, it's usually always on. I have a 42 inch in my room and I prefer using just because I like watching things on bigger screens.
My theory used to be Stone Tower was where Majora's Mask originated, or at least it's a temple that was made in worship of Majora's Mask for being a solar deity.
The temple is filled with solar symbolism, and once you flip the temple you have figuratively jumped into the sky, leading to the...
I'm really not sure how to look at TotK Ganondorf. On the one hand, it might make sense for someone who had the full Triforce and still failed to succeed with it to try and obtain a different type of power. On the other, it might be better to seek out the Triforce instead and use it to make a...
City in the Sky can be pretty confusing. My best advice is if you can't seem to make any progress on a certain path, try others, they'll give you items that will help you progress those other paths. Like Stray Witch mentioned, look above you a lot. Even if there isn't always a benefit to looking...
Majora's Mask is one of those games where all the side content feels very worthwhile. I think doing it all without a guide is probably possible, but in my own experience I could not find some of the masks on my own, and actually to this day I'm still missing a few heart pieces.
I doubt they'd move away from Xbox hardware, but I could be wrong of course. Making all their games multiplatform does basically devalue owning an Xbox though, so in the long run it could hurt them.
I think we could get them but I think it largely depends on when they will release their next console. If they don't release it this year, maybe they will do ports of WW and TP HD to give one more push for the Switch. If the next console releases this year idk if we'll get the ports.
I've only played one game that actually delves into the morality of your actions, and also let's you see things from the perspective of your "enemies", and that's Nier Automata.
Good!!!! I've been playing lots of videogames, lolll
As for this game, I feel concerned because it feels like the days ending early have stifled communication.
Anyway, do you wanna be my lab assistent?
Pros: we get a chat together, we can agree on a payment rate so you get paid!!!
Cons: My...
Following the trend of recent years, what gaming goals do you have for 2024? What games do you have that you hope to finish this year? Are there any 2024 releases you are anticipating and want to play in the new year?
So far my goals are to finish all routes of Nier Automata. Complete my replay...
There are a lot of game announcements that either surprised me, or were very epic. If we're going by unbelievable based on pure spectacle, I'd say Breath of the Wild's E3 reveal in 2016 comes to mind. It just made the game look way better than I ever imagined it would be when we first saw it in...
It's been a weird year. I didn't even finish Bug Fables, or get very far from where I left off last year in fact. I didn't finish my playthrough of BotW before Tears of the Kingdom released either.
The only thing that did happen was Tears of the Kingdom took up the majority of my gaming time...
There was a big geographic change (with The Great Flood) so this isn't unreasonable in that circumstance. I thought there isn't a given timeframe between the flood and Wind Waker, so I'm wondering where you got 100 years for the evolution to take place, I can't remember anything in the books...
It could be Zonai made if we subscribe to a theory that Hylia was a Zonai. I'd say she probably wasn't though if all depictions of her are taken literally.
Skyward Sword does state Hylia made the Goddess Sword.
I think its reaction to zonai fusing can just be chalked up similarly to the Master...
I haven't played many games on PC, but I did mod Morrowind. I downloaded a few mods from nexus. One was a patch kit mod that fixed a glitch I triggered in the game. I downloaded a house mod that would give me a house I could buy in Balmora. I also wanted to try a fast travel mod just to see how...
