It's actually a quite neat trick to close one eye to aim, I've seen this posted somewhere before. Turning the 3d off and/or using the circle pad is an inferior option, both require much more effort.

Assuming that you could make the distances in time without epona (which I doubt), you'd need the longshot to cross the gerudo valley bridge.

The only thing I'm slightly disappointed with is that they did nothing to the look of stairs. I mean those stairs that lead up to kakariko, the stairs inside kakariko, well you get the idea. They're still just a texture. Especially since they made all ladders and fences real 3d.
