currently playing The Last Story non-stop and plan to start Xenoblade Chronicles afterwards. Despite the linearity of last story, it's a great game! also can't wait to start xenoblade!!!
I like how midna has a big connection to the story in TP (being the twilight princess and all) and would love for partners to be more than just info brokers. Another idea is for them to turn into a mount to traverse hyrule field, maybe not a horse because that would be kind of wierd, so maybe a...
Aww. I've been using it for everything I play ever since, lets see, Noc.-Dec.? and now it suddenly dissfunctions?! Personally I blame my brother for playing COD online for hours a day. I'd like to believe the online connectivity messed it up somehow.
First off, this is the gold wii remote plus that was bundled with Skyward Sword and it just has a certain appeal to me that other wii remotes don't(maybe it's the triforce symbol).
So the problem is: I was about half way through TP wii version when my plus, minus, and home buttons began to...
well the sun and moon always have a gravitational force on the earth. and i guess from a fiction point of view there's something about cosmic energy... idk
just ignore it and enjoy the show! i love avatar too! :D
it really depends on the overworld size and the number of dungeons. if there are more dungeons then that means more heart containers and less exploration for pieces, so 5 would be a logical choice. as for overworld size, it's debatable on how easy or hard it should be to find them.
I prefer to...
i totally used to watch that way back when(i don't even know how old i was). i read somewhere that neptune is gay for one girl in the japanese version, but the dub made them cousins. I only remember actually seeing a few episodes
i don't know about you guys, but i don't use potions too often. I'd like a game with a great difficulty that almost (if not definatly) ensures that you run out of hearts. thus making potions more useful. and to add to that, maybe make fairies less common. not too rare, but not simple finds.
SS...
a story is nice to have, but it sort of obstructs gameplay. i wouldn't mind if nintendo went back to games like ALttP or OoT where you find x objects, plot twist, rescue x characters. those two games were flexible in dungeon order unlike recent games where the story deems where your next...
i like how the loftwing gives you the ability to move x,y, and z(like on a graph) but i feel it was really only a one time thing. epona feels more natural in zelda's fictional setting. i really hope she appears in zelda wii u
he's kind of scary and odd, but his role in WW was a good way to solve the full wallet crisis that appears in every game. if they made a tingle side quest where you can dump your rupees into his possesion then sure bring him back
WW ganondorf. the flooding background is an epic battle scene and his movements make the AI seem like it's learning and developing defences to your attacks. plus the sword in the head is epic as well.
vocaloid is a software where people can make their own songs with various synthetic voices. each voice has its own avatar
i dont know all the details, i got into it about a month ago
i was just wondering who here listens to vocaloid and what some of your favorite songs are and which vocaloid is your favorite.
right now i really like Hatsune Miku's "World is mine"
my favorites would have to be:
clannad(cried both times that i watched. affraid to watch a third time)
code geass(so action packed)
FMA brotherhood(amazing scientific fiction)
steins;gate(fun with time travel)
fairy tail(who could ever forget this)
i really like SS. the sky wasn't as disappointing as WW's great sea and i love riding the loftwing. the surface in each region isn't just large and straight forward fields, but puzzley terrain. the game brings you back to each area not just once, but twice, which was nice. also the RPG elements...
they're both some of my favorite zelda games, but i think i like WW better. the cartoonish style appeals to me more, though TP's art was very appealing to me at first. i also like the story and the characters, tetra is one of my favorite characters ever.
i think if you blow up the bolder by the oil guy and use the statue to climb the tree then theres a way for you to jump down from above. i forget if it works, i've only done this like once or twice
edit: it's the same way as getting heart piece 40 in the online guide
most unattractive? hmm. i'm going with the new kyerum forms. i dont like them AT ALL! it looks like zekrom and reshiram beat up kyerum and took some of its skin and made it into armor
using the wiimote to balance has nothing to do with it. if they tilt right then move slowly right then move far left toward the shed. go forward when they are about aligned.
smeargle is the worst. all it knows it sketch, but if you can get a good move set i guess its ok. can smeargle even learn more than one move? at least newer magikarp can learn bounce and flail
the horde battle by far. when i do the lightning round i make sure to use the gaurdian potion and choose this battle first. if i dont then i get most of my health drained from this one fight. girahim is fairly easy but still difficult and demise's difficulty seems to change from hard to easy-ish...
This is probably well known by now, but you can catch faries with your bug net and if you have an empty bottle you can bottle it. The same is true for the bug net in ALttP. With SS and ALttP being the only games with the bug net I find it interesting that they bring this back.
I don't see people talking about MC all too often on these forums. I think it deserves more attention because it's an amazing game, even for a handheld, and the graphics aren't very outdated... yet(?). it is a very unique game with the use of the minish world where you see the world from an...
asuming your using the wii, if you can target them then either use A or shake the wiimote to attack it. or you can just spin attack. there's no real need to kill them
in din's, i didn't know where the last tear was and i got caught by a watcher on the western slope. i found a fruit and located the beam of light which was around the small village with the thrill drigger game. i ran up the hill but a flying gaurdian was there so i turned back. i ran to the...
when i first saw the boss door in the fire sanctuary, i thought there were some crystals or something missing from the circles on each corner of the pentagon and that we would have to find them. but i have nearly completed the game for a second time and i still don't know the reason for this...
a new pokemon game was announced today call pokemon + nobunaga's ambition (maybe a temporary name?), set for release in japan next year in 2012.
its basically a cross between pokemon and nobunaga's ambition. it's a turn based RPG similar to risk i think. i haven't played any nobunaga's...
this post has a few minor game-end spoiler.
this question is for those who have completed the game on hero mode.
once you beat Demise and the game ends, does it ask you to save and restart your game on the same file like it did the first time?
if so, is this hero mode again? and where...
hero mode might be a better acheivment. also, you could buy bomb bags and quivers until you have 99(or whatever the max is, if there is a max) of each type of ammo
from what i read on wikipedia, a cistern is sort of a large well? but shallow? idk. the archetecture of the pictures on wiki were magnificent. so the ancient cistern did an amazing job because i think, at least the top part, fits into the style of a cistern. its an amazing dungeon!
idk, i...
i like the skyview temple a whole lot. yes it was... uneventful and plain but there were some amazing qualities to it and i was glad that it was visited twice in the story.
that being said, the ancient cistern is VERY close behind in my favorites, followed by the sand ship.
the sand ship...
MM, or zelda gaiden, is mainly a side story, hence the gaiden, so that may be one reason for it. maybe the developers wanted to try something different?
if you've watched Full Metal Alchemist then you'd think he's like Greed because he can harden parts of his body as shown in the fire sanctuary boss fight. :D
isnt it odd how we dont see/have the lyre in the begining? we ALWAYS get the instrument within the first couple hours of the game(MC excluded) but this doesnt seem to be the case here. interesting
in the words of Barny Stinsen from "How I met your mother". CHALLANGE ACCEPTED!
also, use the least visible HUD to see controls. or most visible to limit visibility
ive added that the birds are called Loftwings in the first paragraph and that the sword is called the goddess' sword. i want to add headdings like "skyloft" "faron woods" "eldin volcano" "desert" but i feel like id be messing it up without putting in info about the places.
also, if we have...
the only thing i dont like about SS is the save statues. they should only be used to return to the sky. also, starting in the middle of a dungeon where you found a save statue you saved at instead of the very beginning, takes away a bit of the zelda feel of tradition.
as for your HD problem...
