I was under the impression that you COULD do the wind temple first. I remember warping to forest haven to go to get the iron boots right after going back to hyrule, and the violin was playing. I took that to mean you could get makar as soon as you could get the song at the wind temple.

the post is asking which version of twilight princess. in which case i'd say gamecube only because I think the controls are more natural. The wii version has motion control, but its not like skyward swords. it's kind of a waggle of the wiimote, not a swing, so it is kind of artificial in my opinion.
