Great voice acting, Revali's gale is super useful and I think he does have some moments of acknowledgement, even though they are few. I would love it if his character turned out to be more complex than it seems right now (that he'd be tormented by more than his own infinite arrogance and hurt...
Got some slow jazz playing with a rainy background and dim lighting, I'm waiting on my food order, and when it's here I'm gonna crack open a bottle to enjoy this cold but cozy autumn night :bottle:
And I kinda get that ^^'
ALBW fixed many things ALttP lacked, and th music in ALBW was just amazing... It just didn't match the feeling of mystery ALttP gave me. But ALBW was a great game and a worthy reboot of ALttP imho.
Yesss the Dark World theme is my favorite too! Such a feeling of adventure and lurking darkness, but darkness that can be overcome if you’re brave enough. My second favorite is the Lost Woods theme, because it feels so mysterious. My favorite item is the Hookshot (basic I know)!
Ohh you gotta...
I understand your point, Rambo, and I like your theory about changing existing landscapes in following games to keep things interesting (and not bland). However, it does not give us confirmation that the lands we do not see (the lands below the clouds that we can’t reach ingame) are the regions...
Yes, this is such a nice thing. The world felt bigger because of it. I also love the fact that at first it seems like there's only three or four, but then you have to do seven more in another world! Totally sick.
I'm not sure about it yet. On the one hand, it could enhance many things. On the other hand, I feel like it would have consequences we can't even predict at this moment.
Hahahaha, fair enough. If you don't like that theme, ALttP is gonna be rough indeed. For some reason it helped me concentrate on the puzzles.
It does have that nice, edgy feel about it, doesn't it?
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is my favorite Zelda game. Many people aside from me would claim the same, and probably for many different reasons! But why? Is it nostalgia alone, or is there more to A Link to the Past? Does it stand the test of time, for players who have already played...
Right, I can see that! Playing TP does feel nice. Haven't done it in a while, but I remember the natural feel of the controls.
Oof, I feel this with the Pokemon main games lately...
A Link to the Past and A Link Between Worlds say hi! (They both have 12 dungeons, and while the former is 2D, it could be argued that the latter is somewhat of a 3D Zelda).
I'm curious though. What kept you all playing throughout TP?
Favorite:
That one guy in the woods in ALttP who plays the flute for the animals. That felt like such a tragic fairy tale, love that mysterious feeling.
Honorable mention to the hobo under the bridge in several games.
Least favorite:
Any character that screams in a high pitch.
It's possible that those unnamed landscapes would become the regions you've named, but it's not a given that every adaption of Hyrule has the same regions. In fact, it's quite the contrary. We've seen multiple Zelda games having different Hyrule layouts, different region names and even having...
Link is supposed to be partly a canon character and partly an extension of the player. So not having an emotionally expressive Link leaves room for the player to fill in that aspect of the character's reactions -- making the player's emotional state canon for Link in that specific player's...
