@the8thark I'm not sure what you mean. Tropical Freeze has a soundtrack by David Wise, the creator of the soundtrack for the original DKC Trilogy, and it sounds every bit as fantastic and fits the levels.

I personally would love to see a more Super Mario World-esque game myself with a more connected world map and multiple exits. New Super Mario Bros. U worked towards this, but SMW did it better with a plethora of secrets and levels with alternate exits...
Having just replayed World 6 of NSMBU on Switch, I was reminded that the bone coaster as a moving platform similar to mine carts from DKC was a fun addition and definitely adds variety.
After the release of NSMBU Deluxe last Friday, I've been seeing so many YouTube videos either saying they regret buying the game or warning people to stay away with it. I'm a bit perplexed by that as I find it the best package in the NSMB series to date.
I think people are burned out on the 2D...
