All I can say here is, we have no idea when the swoon u version was done. As of June, Eiji Aonuma was still working on story and dialogue. That to me means this wasn't cooking for 6 months to get the Switch version resdy. Hell, at E3, they didn't even include weather because it killed the frame...

Cancelling the Wii U version isn't going to somehow make the Switch version better. Both versions of the game are already done, they have completed development and has been in localization, bug testing, and polishing since pre-E3 2016.

I don't think so. They showed the game running on Wii U, a mere 3 weeks ago.
It's possible that it may be cancelled, but I don't think it will happen.
