Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
Spy x Family Season 2
The Ancient Magus Bride Season 2 Part 2
There wasn't really anything new that I was interested in. I read the Frieren manga so I already knew it was going to be amazing. Same for SxF. Magus Bride continues to fascinate me. I gotta read that...
Almost forgot a new season was starting. So now I'm watching...
Vinland Saga Season 2
Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible
Sugar Apple Fairy Tale
Tomo-chan is a Girl!
Still watching Blue Lock and To Your Eternity. I also started watching the last cour of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean...
This season, I'm watching:
Spy x Family Part 2: continuing to be amazing.
Mob Psycho III: also continuing to be amazing.
Blue Lock: my friend recommended I watch this and it's been neat. it's basically a sports anime that's been insanely dramatized to the degree of a death game anime like...
I've finally started revisiting Yu Yu Hakusho. I used to love it back in the old Toonami days when I was younger but I couldn't remember anything from it. Watching it again now is a huge nostalgia trip. I plan to try and make it through all 112 episodes.
Rewatching my all time fave Hyouka. It just had its 10 year anniversary in April.
Also just rewatched The Devil Is A Part-Timer since season 2 is finally coming along after all these years.
Watching the Komi Can't Communicate dub. Kyle McCarley's back must hurt from carrying the whole thing. Some questionable script choices here and there, but its entertaining.
Currently watching through the Fate animes with my bff. We finished Zero recently and are now halfway through season 1 of Blade Works. We're gonna watch the Heaven's Feel movies after.
This season, I'm watching Mieruko-chan and kind of regretting it because, while the premise is interesting, there are a ridiculous number of fanservice shots. Like, do we really need to see this girl's butt and camel toe when she's searching for salt to protect herself from ghosts? Do we need to...
Only new anime I'm watching this season is The Aquatope on White Sand. It's pretty neat so far, and the animation is gorgeous.
Still continuing to watch My Hero Academia (kind of, waiting for the season to finish or actually get interesting before I continue), Edens Zero, and To Your Eternity.
Watching the Fate/Grand Order animays out of curiosity for the storyline. Watched the First Order movie and am now working through Babylonia. I'll watch the Camelot movies afterward. Its not proving to be as good as Zero or Unlimited Blade Works, but it's sure proving to be just as visually hype.
Revisiting the Fairy Tail anime, but not the whole thing. I'm watching the Grand Magic Games and Tartaros arcs since those were what was covered in the Switch game I just bought. I might just go to the end after Tartaros, though.
I watched the first season of Natsume's Book of Friends years ago, and wasn't really feeling the series because I thought it was too slow-paced. Nowadays, I really enjoy that kind of thing, so I've come back to it and just finished season two with great enjoyment. I'm gonna watch the four...
My Hero Academia S5
Edens Zero
To Your Eternity
Fruits Basket Final
Jouran: Princess of Snow and Blood
That's for this season, and I'm also slowly working through SKET DANCE on the side.
Isekai means "another world" so basically it refers to the type of anime where the main character either gets transported to or reincarnates into another world. They usually fall into the "basement dweller reality avoidance harem" tropes so there aren't very many good ones.
This season:
The Promised Neverland 2
Cells at Work 2
Horimiya
TPN2 is supposedly going to have an anime original ending and I'm not happy about that cuz it was gonna adapt my favorite arc otherwise. So far, it's been good, at least. Cells at Work 2 is just as delightful as the first season...
I gave Darling in the Franxx a go, and wow. That was horrible. I dropped it after two episodes. I couldn't take it. I hadn't heard anything specific about it, just mixed things and that it wasn't that great. But that was worse than I could've imagined. I can't believe Trigger was a part of...
I recently watched Promare and have been on a Trigger binge because of it. I rewatched Kill la Kill, I finished BNA, and next I may go back through Kiznaiver. I also might check out Darling in the Franxx because I never have and that's by Trigger. Eventually I'm gonna rewatch Gurren Lagann once...
I started watching the Granblue Fantasy anime because a great friend of mine is really into the games. I don't think I could get into its gacha stuff, but I like the world and characters so far.
Started watching Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! while waiting for seasonal stuff. It's entertaining so far and has some really interesting animation and art direction.
Out of the seasonals, I'm watching BNA and Listeners, which are both great so far. Looking forward to Fruits Basket Season 2 and...
Too goddamn many, that's which. With all the time I'm sinking into FE, I'm falling behind on everything. This season, I'm watching:
Black Clover
Carole & Tuesday
Fairy Tail: Final Series
Fire Force
Fruits Basket (2019)
Astra Lost In Space
Skilled Teaser Takagi S2
Demon Slayer
Lord El-Melloi II...
Black Clover - very basic shounen. It's entertaining enough, though nothing sticks out as impressive so far. And the MC should not have to be as annoying as he is.
Today's Menu for the Emiya Family - an adorable cooking spin off of Fate/stay night with no context as to why they're all friends...
It's alright, I guess. Honestly, it gets a lot better the further you get into the story, and to be honest A-1 Pictures made the anime adaption far more annoyingly fanservicy than the novels ever were. I hope you enjoy it a fair bit.
I just finished rewatching all of Fairy Tail, since the manga...
The new season is almost upon us, and once again I've only got 4 new things on my list.
Spring leftovers:
My Hero Academia S2 (still my favorite thing ever and utterly amazing)
Re:Creators
Sakurada Reset
Summer anime:
Fate/Apocrypha
Owarimonogatari S2 (I might as well watch this since ive...
My Hero Academia S2 (hype af for this)
DanMachi: Sword Oratoria
Little Witch Academia
Re:Creators (was originally worried it'd be otaku bait but I watched anyway because Hiroyuki Sawano. it's better than I was expecting.)
Sakurada Reset
Attack On Titan S2
It can be fanservicy on all sides so there's that as a downside. But the action is usually good and I love all the characters. The story arcs are all pretty good too. I think it's worth watching.
Judging from the first episode, it seems like their answer was basically "let's pretend that filler arc that wrapped up the last season never happened" lol. It feels a little awkward since Bon and the others are back to being uncomfortable around Rin. All that filler after Amaimon's attack seems...
K has a sequel movie and then a season that's a sequel to that movie and they flesh out those ideas more.
it goes K ---> K: Missing Kings (movie) ---> K: Return of Kings (final season)
I watched all of the seasons and overall enjoyed it (years ago before i started avoiding harems like the plague) but my god to this day I ****ing hate Louise's guts, she treats Saito like **** and cannot be honest with him or herself and this leads to one of the unhealthiest relationships I've...
This winter season, I'm watching:
Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Impure King Arc
ChäoS;Child
Hand Shakers
Little Witch Academia (TV)
Tales of Zesteria the X (2017)
Only 5. That's an all-time low for me.
Leftovers from previous seasons:
Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On
Twin Star Exorcists
Edit: Dropped...
Not watching much this season.
Haikyuu!! Season 3
Hibike! Euphonium 2
Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On
Occultic;Nine
Izetta the Last Witch
Web.Working!!
Leftovers from last seasons:
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable
Twin Star Exorcists
Extras:
Rakshasa Street
I finally caved and decided to start watching Sakamoto desu ga?. I didn't want to watch it because I thought it would be all "ooooh look at sakamoto look how perfect he is" for 12 episodes with Sakamoto himself as a totally boring gary stu, but episode 1 says otherwise. It's actually really...
Those I bolded are some of what I'm watching this season and they're all great (especially Kiznaiver) but i'm absolutely in love with Boku no Hero Academia it's already jumped up to one of my all-time favorite series and I already got caught up in the manga it's so amazing and thrilling like...
I enjoyed Charlotte a lot. It's by Key, the same people that did Angel Beats! and the show has a couple subtle references to it in there, which was interesting.
This season, I'm watching:
Concrete Revolutio: Superhuman Phantasmagoria - The Last Song
- great start to the second season, looking...
Winter 2016 watchlist:
Akagami no Shirayukihime 2
Dimension W
Divine Gate
Durarara!!x2 Ketsu
GATE: Fire Dragon Arc
Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash
Fall leftovers:
Garo: Crimson Moon
Haikyuu!! 2
Heavy Object
And I'm continuing to watch Fairy Tail as it airs and Gintama at my own pace.
I started watching Haikyuu!! and even though I don't like volleyball or sports anime at all, I really like this one. The characters are great and it's hilarious, and it's really fun to watch them play even if I don't like the sport.
I've been rewatching Ghost Hound lately. It's been a long time since I've last watched it and its as interesting as I remember.
As far as the upcoming fall anime season goes, I'm watching significantly less than usual... again. There's too much harem/ecchi **** these days. I've only got 8 from...
Next season I'm gonna watch:
Akagami no Shirayuki-hime
Chaos Dragon: Sekiryuu Seneki
Charlotte
Durarara!!x2 Ten
Gangsta.
Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri
Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan
Rokka no Yuusha
Working!!!
I considered watching Yatterman Night but never got around to it. Maria the Virgin With was a lot better than I was expecting. I was really afraid it would just be an entire series of everyone trying to get Maria to lose her virginity in various ways each episode; thank god it wasn't that. It...
