From Up On Poppy Hill - 8/10 I really enjoy the theme of preservation of culture that runs throughout this movie. The love plot isn't as strong as some other movies I've seen, but the emotional scenes are still there.

My advisor always makes edits to my paper seem so easy during our weekly meetings, but then it's such a challenge to do it right when I finally sit down to it.

I'm just one level away from finishing my Super World in Super Mario Maker 2. Pretty exciting. Other than that, I've been playing fresh playthoughs of Ocarina of Time and A Link Between Worlds for their anniversaries, and I'm slowly finishing up A Link to the Past and Super Mario Bros. Wonder too.

I would say my attention span is okay. I can usually work for a good two and a half to three hour chunk at a time, but anything beyond that, and I start to lose focus. It's definitely not as good as it used to be, though, back before I had a smartphone.

I usually only shop online for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I picked up the Switch version of DKC Tropical Freeze for $30 from Best Buy, DBZ Kai Blurays from Amazon, and a few other anime Blurays from Sentai Filmworks this year.

The Hinox Brothers were a neat mine cart fight so they get my vote.

I went to my 10 year high school reunion tonight, and it was a great time. I got to see a few people I haven't seen since 2013, and we exchanged phone numbers/LinkedIn profiles so I hope we can keep in touch more often.

Just saw the video on this from Gamexplain. This DLC is truly an amazing value. Between the tracks, characters, Mii costumes, jukebox, and custom items (added back in wave 3), this is one of the best DLCs ever.

Wave 6 releases on November 9th! What a journey it's been. And it's a great line-up to end us off: Wii Rainbow Road, Tour Madrid Drive, GCN DK Mountain, Piranha Plant Cove, Tour Rome Avanti, SNES Bowser Castle 3, Wii Daisy Circuit, and 3DS Rosalina's Ice World.

Yeah, I'll usually look up translated lyrics for anime songs. But then I always forget what the lyrics translate to anyhow, so I'm not sure it's worth the effort. It's nice when foreign songs mix in some English so I can get the gist of the song.

I enjoy watching individual episodes here and there. But I can never imagine binging one. Seinfeld is probably my favorite.

It looks like I'm the only one here who dislikes gothic. It looks so tacky. I think baroque looks a lot better.

My watching of sports is mostly during the Olympics. I'm not into it too much otherwise.

I've always loved the design of scout troopers. Their masks always stood out to me. I realize it's not an option in the poll, but I love it. Of the standard designs, then Stormtroopers from the Empire era.

No sound for me. I prefer silence, and I'll usually fall asleep. Once in a while I'll have a restless night, though.
