I always have my starter with me, no matter what game I'm playing. My starter is always the strongest Pokemon I have that is not a legendary. Long live my starters until the next Pokemon game! XD- Fig

Your stater is supposed to be the strongest Pokemon in the game, since it's your first Pokemon. I don't know why many people throw away their starters.- Fig
