Aside from playing a lot of Sunbreak, I've been doing a ton of grinding in Granblue Fantasy. I'm almost able to finish recruiting all of the Eternals characters (tip: don't do this. if you know you know.) which is a grind that's taken me like three years. Just waiting on the real-time event Rise...
I started Persona 5 Strikers last night. It's definitely odd to experience Warriors combat through an encounter system, and it's not as satisfying as the massive battles I'm used to because the encounters are so short, but it's still fun. Getting used to the new gameplay loop.
Finally finished Persona 5 Royal at 130 hours. Was a good experience. Had its ups and downs. The Royal storyline was really good. Glad to finally be done though. Time to go back to TotK.
Aside from the obvious TotK nonstop train, I've been managing to squeeze some Granblue Fantasy in. I just completed a huge milestone today for finally fully forging all my Seraphic weapons, which is a huge boon for my weapon grids. The game gives you this cool edgy character outfit as a reward...
Nier:Automata sure has been something. I finished Route A and have just started Route B. Mechanically, it has its ups and downs. Combat is pretty fun, and I like the amount of side content, but the world is pretty but disappointing. It's way too empty for its size, and you don't unlock fast...
Finished Bayonetta 3's story and I gotta say... not as bad as I heard people say it was. I can sort of get why people wouldn't like it, though. I think as a whole, this game is a massive step up from both of its predecessors. The combat is better than ever and the level design is great. There...
Started Bayonetta 3 this morning and it's pretty impressive. I've only done the prologue and chapter 1 so far but I'm digging it. The plot seems to really be off the hinges and doesn't really feel like it follows what the past two games have established, but I don't hate it so far.
Finished my story replay of AoC this morning, but I'm still not done with the game. I wanna do some more weapon grinding and I also wanna stream it again before I put it down. But if things go as planned, I'll be able to start Bayonetta 3, finally, next weekend.
I just started my Maddening run of Golden Wildfire in Three Hopes even though the Sunbreak title update coming in a few days is gonna force me to put a pause on my run again. It's gonna be a while before I get that done.
Finally got to start Azure Gleam in Three Hopes. Once I finish that I'll feel ready to talk about the game somewhere. Still gotta take short breaks from it for the Sunbreak event quests each week, though.
Have begun my run of Scarlet Blaze in Three Hopes. I get the feeling I'm gonna need to put it on pause soon for Sunbreak's first title update, though...
After playing Sunbreak for 160 hours in a single month ( :sweating: ) I finally finished all the immediate goals I had for it. I've returned to Three Hopes now. I've got a lot of catching up to do. I keep seeing spoilers in my YouTube recommendations as a result of me listening to the...
I have been playing nothing but Sunbreak since it released. I am finally almost satisfied with it though, just wanna work on some award hunting and quest completion and then I can go back to Three Hopes.
Since Three Hopes got delayed til Monday for me, I started a new playthrough of Ys VIII to get through the weekend. I won't get far but it'll be fun while it lasts. Just finished Ys IX last night.
Trying to get more done in Rune Factory 5 before Three Hopes and Sunbreak come out. I've almost finished my first full calendar year. Currently trying to accumulate wood and lumber for the vacation house, as well as steadily courting Lucy. Gonna propose after three more dates once I've done all...
Been playing Rune Factory 5, but just finished the main story on Friday and am now taking a break to play Skywalker Saga. At least for a little bit. I'm kinda waiting for a future DLC pack before I dive too deep in so I'll be going back to RF5 soon enough.
Finished up everything I wanted to do in Monster Hunter Rise for now, so I plan to return to the weapon grind in Age of Calamity until Rune Factory 5 arrives. Regardless of when it arrives though I won't start it until Friday so I can have the weekend to dive in.
Completed my living dex in Legends Arceus so now it's time to go back to Monster Hunter Rise. I got some ranks to reach before Sunbreak comes this summer, and with all the big games coming out between then and now, I wanna get it done early.
Friend got me Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition for Christmas so I've been trying it out. it's my first DMC game. I'm not sure I have a concrete opinion yet since I'm only 2 hours in, but Dante is pretty entertaining as a character.
Played a ton of Age of Calamity and tried to take a breather in MHRise for a bit but I'm already about to go back into AoC. Man. I hope I don't burn myself out on it before the DLC drops at the end of the month lol. It's been hard to pull myself away from it.
I've been deep in a replay of Ys VIII. Originally I wanted to try it in the hardest difficulty, inferno mode, but that ended up being more of a "don't get hit or else" kind of run and that wasn't very fun so I bumped it down a notch to nightmare mode. I managed to last up until chapter 5 of the...
Playing Burnout Paradise since I just bought it on sale after eyeing it for so long. I definitely prefer the sandbox style as opposed to level-based racing. Its fun to unwind and drive around aimlessly with no real objectives unless I want them.
Besides that, I'm revisiting Astral Chain and...
I can't recommend Ys enough. Celceta, Felghana, and SEVEN are great ones to check out if you get the chance. The whole series is on Steam. (except for 5 cuz that was never localized)
I am currently playing BotW, ACNH, and RF4S. There's still so much I want to do in all three of them.
Still playing ACNH every day, as the goals I'm working toward are still in progress. I started playing Rune Factory 4 Special again along with this, and man I forgot how easy it is to get sucked in and play for hours at once. There's no end of goals to work toward in that game, either.
Kind of getting back into Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. I dunno how long this will last, but at the very least, I've had more fun playing it today alone than I have playing World/Iceborne in the past, like, month.
I finished an extremely in-depth revisit of Ys 8 today. God damn I love that game so much. Now I'm moving on to Ys 6 for the first time. It's pretty fun so far, and I can tell the story is gonna be really interesting when it comes full circle.
After finishing Ys Origin, I've moved on to Ys: Memories of Celceta. And you know what? I think Ys is my #3 game series now. These games are just so much fun. They're exactly what I want out of an RPG. So now my top 3 favorites gaming franchises are Zelda, Monster Hunter, and now Ys.
Still playing ACNH of course. I was finally able to get back into my 6th playthrough of FE3H so hopefully that doesn't change. And now I'm also playing Ys Origin.
Logically, I know that Granblue Fantasy is bad by virtue of it being a mobile gacha with an awful UI. But emotionally? I have adopted many children and I will make all their dreams come true. I an really enjoying the characters and story. It's becoming a new hyperfixation.
Switch. It's fun to play, but the story is really bad. It's a good thing it gives me the gratification of seeing my ocs together with great gameplay, else I'd have given up on it.
I still have a crazy long list of things to do in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, but I am also playing the original Legend of Zelda on the NES Online thing. I also just jumped back into Ys VIII for a second playthrough. Fun times.
Dont listen to those losers, ST is really charming and fun. It’s one of my favorite Zeldas and has some great puzzle design, especially in the Tower of Spirits. Best companion as well!
Ys 8. It’s exactly the RPG experience I’ve been craving. Fast, fun, and fluid combat, interesting story that gets me thinking and keeps me on my toes, characters that make me want to help them, exploration that goes hand in hand with investigation. It’s so much fun.
I’m still playing a lot of Hyrule Warriors DX on my switch, but I’m getting back into Smash Bros 4 on my 3ds to practice for SSBU when it comes out this winter. The hype is real.
