I wouldn't mind a story post TotK either. Having a game post FSA or ST would be cool too. I just think a pre aLttP is needed the most since it's the one that actually doesn't have a game that leads into it the way MM and WW do.

It's possible the timelines have merged into one, but even if true, that doesn't mean moving forward they have to continue doing games in the wild era. There's still so much they can do. We don't know why they did what they did with botw/totk. For all we know, EoW could take place right after OoT

That's definitely possible! I'd just prefer a story between OoT and aLttP. It'd provide context to what we've only been told and not shown. Plus, it'd be cool to have a game where we lose at the end of it

If Ganon is the big bad, I'm hoping this is a story that'd take place between OoT and aLttP
