Hahah I feel your pain. The DLC, awakening is pretty good, but the main game is mediocre. They tried new things, some fell flat, but overall the story kept me going. Isaac is such a great character. He feels like a more fleshed Gordon freeman; An every-man, thrust into a save-the-world...
Exactly. It doesn't have the horror heart the other 2 did, but its good enough to stand on its own two legs as an action game, rather than a Dead Space horror sequel. The DLC for DS3 however, Awakened, is apparently proper horror.
Glad you're enjoying it. Definitely check out Dead Space 2 and 3 then. 3 is weakest of the series but it's still interesting enough and I'm glad they tried to change it up, even if they fumbled the final product.
It's one of my favourite series.
You'll love it. Dead Space is one of my favourite horror games of all time. It's not perfect, and it may feel dated playing it 8 years later, but its a good game with an interesting lore.
Picked up Life is Strange, Read Dead Redemption (lost my X360 disc, so I bought it again digitally for $7.50, no regrets), and Divinity: Original Sin.
Juggling only RDR and Divinity. LiS is a title to play when the girlfriend is over.
It's definitely a sequel done right, minus a glitch here and there, and for some reason a long 'back to base' load time. Hopefully they patch some of those things by the time you get it.
Anyway, I beat Rise of the Tomb Raider, and am now focusing on Metro: Last Light.
I think I set the...
Not yet. I plan on waiting for a year or so, for a sale to hit. The Canadian dollar is in the ****ter, so the game is priced at $80 >_> I can't pay $80 for a PC game...
I've been watching some Lets Plays and Twitch streams though to tide me over. I love the new mechanics, and love how now its...
Just finished XCOM EW again. Going to finish up Rise of the Tomb Raider, before hopefully getting back into Metro: Last Light and Bioshock Infinite to finish those two up as well. Then maybe I'll start a new game...
FEAR 1 was best. Easily one of the best horror games of last gen. Great atmosphere, and very smart enemy AI.
Currently playing Dragon Age: Inquisition and Halo: MCC
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
After sinking 20+ hours into the game, and abandoning it twice, I can say the game has finally pulled me in. Not the game's fault (my brother loves it, and its a damn good RPG), but rather mine for being all ADD-like >_>
Playing Mass Effect 3 again. Paragon Shepard. Super nice gal, likes saving the galaxy and being super nice to everyone. Likes the colour blue, doesn't like the colour red. Hates guns, likes blue biotic attacks.
Been fun so far. Adepts are kinda OP especially since I got Liara on my main squad...
