I've found myself frequently playing the online rankings for Mario Golf Super Rush, it's only 3 holes a session but it's easy enough for me to just drop in and drop out
I got a PS3 super slim last month and unfortunately a few game saves didn't transfer, one was GTA 4 and I decided to replay it and somewhat continue my GTA streak lately, and I'm getting sucked into it all over again
decided to give Pokemon Emerald a replay, especially since I initially played through it on emulator but my friend gave me the actual cart of it years back, so I'm just now making use of it
GTA San Andreas DE
yeeeaaahhhh this is very much still in the "they shouldn't have released this" state. There's the typical bugs and doofy looking character models, but I came across something insultingly bad. The Green Sabre mission cutscene where CJ finds out about Big Smoke, the cut to CJ's...
Kirby's Block Ball, I played it a bit years ago and am now getting back into it, it's super good, until you have to use the vertical paddles, then it gets too big brain for me
dabbling with F-Zero Maximum Velocity and I've got 2 main takeaways
1. soundtrack is superb, the sound reminds me a lot of Fire Emblem Sacred Stones in particular
2. there's only 1 good car, the rest just flat out suck I swear
it was great, actually your post on the rate the last game thread summed it up better than I could've, I also want to revisit it someday w/ the persona legacy music dlc
holy crap so the exact same thing that happened w/ Metroid Zero Mission now happened w/ Golden Sun, where I got stuck on a part and put it down for years, then decided to have another go at it and actually managed to get through it
so guess I'm continuing Golden Sun now, unless I get stuck again
I wish it kept the "Scramble" subtitle for that reason, ha
it's pretty good, it's really my first musou game too, not counting that time I played Dynasty Warriors 8 for like an hour, and so far it has a good balance of mixing hack and slash and the persona combat elements like all out attacks...
Sonic Heroes, I played this game once when I rented it as a kid, but really quickly dismissed it as not being as good as Adventure 2 and just dropped it, it'll be interesting to see how I end up feeling about this game nowadays
side note: sweet merciful jebus Tails's voice is atrocious
felt like doing a star fox marathon w/ 64, adventures, and then assault, been swapping back and forth b/w 64 3d and regular 64 since there's merits to playing both
hadn't realized how much I kept coming back to final fantasy tactics advance until I noticed the time was near 50 hours, for an initial save file this is probably my most played gba game
Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind
wow this is progressing way more smoothly than the Missing Heir, not nearly as much trial and error it feels
Team Sonic Racing
as an aside, it's getting more and more unusual seeing sonic's friends together w/o some kind of recent adventure game to tie them all together, just to remind me "oh yeah...these guys know each other", I can never get used to these voice actors, besides tails
in light of mario golf star rush, the past few days I've been revisiting toadstool tour, but that's not all....I did a naughty
I downloaded a save file that has all the characters unlocked and I put that into my memory card, b/c if you've played this game, you know that unlocking any character...
Super Metroid, admittedly I'm a little weary since it doesn't seem to point you on where you're supposed to go like Zero Mission did, but I'll see how far I can make it
it's been nearly 2 months since I finished it and I'm still returning to Yakuza 0, and there's a hell of a lot of content I neglected too, holy hell this game
Grandia through the Grandia HD Collection
this game is 90s anime in the best possible way, also I swear the storage icon for saving is still the PS1 memory card
