Hmm, as far as I can remember the Big Poes appears no matter the time of the day in Hyrule Field, I'm pretty sure I just chased them straight away. Anyway, for me the hardest part was to locate them, a few attempts to get the angle that allows them to 'run' without entering a wall or something...

I always do it, I find it fun, and I think it is one of the best things to do on the horse, when you are actually using a bow, though I like using it in Gerudo Training better. The Poe hunt can be kind of tricky and frustrating, but I always enjoyed it, so I always go for it. :xd:
