I've been thinking about writing an article for GenGAME titled "Why I Play Video Games". I'm curious as to why some other people play video games—specific reasons, or just because you find them fun?
I'd write out mine, but I'll save it for the article.
While we're on the subject, check out the Everything We Know About New Super Mario Bros. 2 article over at GenGAME.net. Perhaps it'll help sway opinions one way or the other.
Personally, the whole coin theme and "trying to get to a million coins total" makes New Super Mario Bros. 2 a much...
Don't forget that Ganondorf wasn't born until thousands of years later. I don't think that Nintendo would put a character who looks like the main Zelda antagonist, but isn't, in a Zelda game where said Zelda antagonist doesn't even exist yet. Not that and have Demise.
But then again, it'd be...
I didn't mean to imply that people who use strategy guides for their intended purposes are noobs. But there are people who use guides to walk through (walkthough; heh) every moment of a game, and the Shiekah Stones just encourage that. Sorry for acting arrogant; I just meant to state my opinion. :/
Because then completing the game isn't as much as an achievement. Noobs get the bragging rights for beating the game, even if they cheated the entire way through. It's like a strategy guide, but built into the frickin' game. It's stupid. Besides, beating a game by yourself is at least ten times...
The game is superiorly canon compared to the manga, and in the game Linebeck's ship was destroyed. As Linebeck said himself in the game, his wish was for his ship back.
-Ship was destroyed
-Linebeck wished ship wasn't destroyed
-Ship wasn't destroyed
Simple as that.
I really didn't care for him. At first I thought he would be cool, but I grew disgusted in him very quickly.
However, he was a fun boss to fight, and he would make an amazing playable Smash Bros. character with an awesome moveset.
It's commonly assumed (and practically given) that Ganondorf is a reincarnation of Demise. Demise's final words, along with the fact that he looks similar to Ganondorf, all but confirm this.
It makes sense that when Demise was reborn as the gerudo Ganondorf, he would go by the name Ganondorf...
You have a good point, Heros Temporis, but I personally don't recall Levias/Bilocyte being a very good boss fight. Maybe I should play the game again, but I remember having a lot more fun with the Horde Battle than with Levias/Bilocyte.
Here's an ides: how 'bout they have both and just take...
It's a great one, but I wouldn't say the best. Some of my favorites are "Lord of the Underworld," "Scorched Feathers," and "Viridi, Goddess of Nature."
EDIT: I changed my mind; Lightning Battle is one of the best.
