I don`t believe this stereotype (to an extent). There are quite a few good games on the PS3 and XBox 360 but the thing is, most of them get overshadowed by shooters.

Well, if you where already pondering the idea to get a Wii, go for it! Personally I would probably buy a Wii to play Skyward Sword.
