If you choose a non-linear game, chances are you won't find a complex plot. I know Zelda is meant for the gameplay, but plots make a game what it is. and without a plot, I see no reason to come back to play or replay the game.

I do believe now that Vaati is 100% Demises curse. He is in almost half the games as well, all of which are hand held, but meh. I think any villain with 2 forms can be a result of Demises Curse.
