Correct solution
That is, botw is focused on allowing the player to choose their own method for solving problems, rather than the solution being a single path to victory. I personally get more satisfaction out of the latter and feel cheated by the former, but some people who hate puzzle games prefer the former to the latter because they'll never be stuck

I mainly play BotW and I still get stuck after beating the game twice Lmao
Especially the one where you have to toss an orb in a bin and hit a switch to fling it over. Once I get on top, I can never seem to find a way to reach the end. All I can really do is set a remote bomb by the switch, set it off, jump and pray that I land on the other side safely.

Both are equally fun and BotW has a good balance of both.

the only singular solutions in botw I can think of are the twin shrines with the constellations that you have to input the correct order in
I would not say it has a "good balance of both"

I was talking about the game in general. Good balance of linearity and freedom.
