  • With the 3DS gone, only one remains.

But without the Wii's or Duals, will it ever be the same?

The Switch, it stands, tall and grand,

the sole survivor of Nintendo's hand.

But while we weep that 3DS has part,

We will forever hold it dear in our heart.

A tribute to the 3DS, by Magolor04726, May it rust in peace.
    3DS, 2011-2020.
(Yes, this is overdramatic. And yes, I meant to put rust there instead of rest. Deal with it.)
I'd love it if you guys went to check out the Brawl Stars thread in the RP section to see if you would like to join our latest game of Gem Grab! We have two confirmations, but we need six total people.
Sixteen years ago, there was born into this world a little boy. You would all come to know him as Magolor04726. Through sixteen years of life, through ups and downs, trials, tribulations and sunshiny days, he has become the person he is today. And part of that is due to all of you. Happy 16th to me, and thank you all for being my friends!
Out of curiosity, when you guys see my name on something, or you see me online, or, just in general, when you think of me, what do you think of me?
Thinking of starting my own game tourney sort of thing... every Saturday, I choose a random Nintendo game, like Mario Kart or Mario Party, and a random course/minigame/whatever. Would that be something you guys would want to participate in? There wouldn't be prizes, it would just be for fun, and no sign-ups necessary (Probably). Just submit your time to me and you're good. So... yes or no? (I'll need help with LoZ games, if there's any side quests/minigames/boss battles/whatever else we might be able to use)
This is something my dad showed me because I love to write. It's pretty funny, so I thought I'd share it here.

    1. Avoid alliteration. Always.

    2. Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.

    3. Avoid cliches like the plague. (They're old hat.)

    4. Employ the vernacular.

    5. Eschew ampersands & abbreviations, etc.

    6. Parenthetical remarks (however relevant) are unnecessary.

    7. It is wrong to ever split an infinitive.

    8. Contractions aren't necessary.

    9. Foreign words and phrases are not apropos.

    10. One should never generalize.

    11. Eliminate quotations. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: "I hate quotations. Tell me what you know."

    12. Comparisons are as bad as cliches.

    13. Don't be redundant; don't use more words than necessary; it's highly superfluous.

    14. Be more or less specific.

    15. Understatement is always best.

    16. Exaggeration is a billion times worse than understatement.

    17. One-word sentences? Eliminate.

    18. Analogies in writing are like feathers on a snake.

    19. The passive voice is to be avoided.

    20. Go around the barn at high noon to avoid colloquialisms.

    21. Even if a mixed metaphor sings, it should be derailed.

    22. Who needs rhetorical questions?
    4th of July poem

    Jets of light,

    Brighten the night,

    All different hues,

    The reds, whites, and blues,

    As they explode in mid-air,

    The colors, they flare,

    And the citizens cheer,

    For their country, so dear,

    And throughout the night,

    One hears the delight,

    “A Happy Birthday,

    To our great U.S.A.”
Happy Independence day to all my fellow Americans!
