Trees are nice. I like trees...
And all the Pokémon Professors have been named after various species of trees--even Professor Kukui of the Alola region was named after the candlenut tree. So, if you were to take up pokémon research, what tree would you be? Pick a tree, any tree. Also, if you're feeling particularly creative, why did you pick that tree?

WAIT I take that back. I love pine trees even more than maple trees. Christmas trees are one of my favorite things in the entire world. So... Professor Pine.

I would probably be Professor Dogwood. I have a Dogwood in my frontyard and I'm so proud of it. During the Spring it is lush with white flowers, and it stands out in my neighborhood. I love that tree.

The Deku Tree of course! As the boss of the Kokiri, it is a tree native to our forest and one for which I have a deep respect.

In all seriousness, I think I would pick the pine tree. Not only does this type of tree come with an alliterative professor name, but I've always found these trees neat, regardless of the type.
