My family makes prime rib in Christmas and it is always amazing! But i think I’d say my favorite part is after the dinner. We watch A Christmas Story and eat shrimp.
Mashed potatoes, naturally. That's true for Thanksgiving dinner, as well. Mashed potatoes are a gift to the world. Just don't sully them with gravy. Butter only.
Lobster and a feast of Chinese food. We are all stuffing and turkey'ed out due to Christmas, so our tradition is to pick one local Chinese restaurant nearby and just order a ****ton of food from them.
My grandma's butter tarts after the meal. Honestly what I look forward to the most. Turkey dinner is great and all, but nothing can beat her butter tarts.
And since my stepmom can't have regular potatoes, we typically have mashed sweet potatoes instead, which is certainly a delight.
