Eh, nope, there isn't any reference to BOTW in HE. I wasn't even aware there was a book that really covers BOTW (except for "Making of a Champion" I think).

Hyrule Encyclopedia actually states that the Master Sword wasn't present during the era of LOZ and Adventure of Link. Though that is if you take HE as canon, so it's probably up to interpretation.

That is without using the Spin Attack? Or do you always have to use the spin attack regardless of the sword you have? And can you use rings or other power-ups to bypass having to use a spin attack? Or do you have to use the spin attack no matter what? Thanks!
