Same. It feels a little embarrassing, having played Zelda games my whole life but rarely ever 100%ing them. But it never really feels worth it and the extra things I skip generally aren't that exciting. I 100%'d OoT 3D, and I'm pretty sure I got all of the extra stuff in the original LoZ. But...
Lol that was the entire philosophy behind BotW. It's the first Zelda to not follow the same formula since OoT, which didn't really overhaul the formula but just adapted it to 3D.
Souls plays pretty similar to Monster Hunter. I think you would like it if you like MH. And yeah, you can damage...
Now that I think about it, that really was a complete missed opportunity for the character. I would have much preferred finding Tingle at the top of the towers and having him fill in a region. I've never been a fan of modern technology being in fantasy worlds and having "lol its just magic, I...
I just got an Oculus Quest 2 As it's the cheapest option. It's standalone, but I got an offbrand link cable to hook it up to my pc which works pretty well. Resident Evil 4 is really cool in VR. The only downside is having to make a Facebook account to use it.
I've seen some people complain that it looks too similar to DS3, but you know what else was really similar to DS3? Every Fromsoft game since Demon's Souls. :P I don't know why people were expecting that Elden Ring wouldn't stick to the formula.
I don't really have much more to contribute to the...
Hard to be nostalgic for anything so recent. Maybe Monster Hunter 3U and the Wii U in general. Moreso just nostalgia for my life at the time than for the games themselves. Although the time around Mario Maker's release was pretty cool, because there was such a craze for that game that the second...
My first exposure to Metroid was Samus in the original Super Smash Bros. N64 is the first console I remember, so I didn't know who she was. I probably didn't even know she was a "she." My first Metroid game was Prime followed shortly by Fusion. I have vague memories playing Prime with my...
It's just categorization. It's sort of interesting to think about what a proper term would be. For a long time, if you said "3D Mario" it was universally understood that you meant Mario 64, Sunshine, and/or the Galaxies. No one took that as dismissing Double Dash even though that game is a 3D...
