I'm a little miffed right now because I made some DAMNG good progress on my 3DS download but progress saved does not seemed to have transferred to my NEW 3DS so it looks like I will be starting this game again for the tenth time...

Yeah, you got a point there.
The only reason why I wonder is....30th anniversary is coming. You KNOW Nintendo will have to capitalize on it somehow. Though, I will admit< they do seem to make some nonsensical and ridiculous business decisions (Like how they handled all of the MM release stuff).
It will be interesting to see how the new title falls in the timeline...I wonder if there will be another expansive piece of literature similar to HH next year.
