Zelda 2 had me tearing my hair out (not literally, but it was hard), I'd definitely say it was the most challenging that I've played. Then again, it came from an era when most games were deliberately tough as nails, and I respect that.
Currently playing through both Skyward Sword and The Wind Waker. I'm planning on getting 100% on my play through of SS, it's the first time I've ever played it. I'm not so fussed about getting 100% in WW though. :)

Some of the dungeon design and elements of the game bear a striking resemblance to the Legend of Zelda series.
Fellowship of the Ring is my favourite. Also, they took one of my favourite scenes from the Two Towers book and pasted it into the ending of that first movie, so generally I like it better for that reason too.
I don't have a friend in the world who likes Twilight. I have dozens of friends who like Harry Potter. That speaks volumes to me! I love vampires too much to enjoy Twilight's mockery of them.
My gamecube's not hooked up at the moment so I play it on the Wii, same with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. It's just more convenient. I'd have no problem hooking up the appropriate console if I needed to or could be bothered to though hehe.

Gamecube version has the canon I'm afraid. It's the original game, and the Wii version is the world flipped to make Link right-handed and shoehorn in the motion controls.
I'm edging towards Skyrim here, despite my better judgement. I really enjoyed playing the game and got about 40-50 hours of gameplay out of it so it's a nice long experience. I did find, however, that once I'd played that much of it, I was bored with it and had no desire to play it any more. I...
Hard to choose for me. Being from the UK, the first I heard of the Final Fantasy series was with VII, so naturally it's the first one I played. Since I played it though, I've played every one of the Final Fantasy games and finished all except FFV. If I really had to choose, I think nostalgia...
