  • Well, there were a lot of scales and stuff that used that string, so I mostly had to either change the timing on everything or just skip it and hope no one noticed. And apparently no one did notice, so yay. :P

Wow, haha. You must have a lot of Wii Shop Games. I just have all the Zelda games (LoZ, AoL, LttP, OoT, MM), and My Pokemon Ranch. That's all I've ever bought. XD And I did the exact same thing when I joined Club Nintendo last year! That's part of the reason I made Platinum, haha. I suggest you save some of your games, though. I didn't register ALL of my games – just enough to get Platinum – and that allowed me to register two more this year to get the Platinum prize. (Like I said, I just BARELY made it.) Still, I would never have gotten Platinum without Skyward Sword. I bought it on the first day, so that was extra coins, and I'd said I intended to buy it, so THAT was extra coins... and then the game itself is, like, sixty or something, so it was a lot, haha. And then I did the same for Uprising. Oh! And all of the Ambassador games counted for coins, so I got a lot from that. XD

And it's okay: the elite statuses count for the TOTAL amount you've EARNED, not the amount you have. If you go over 600 and then spend some, you'll still stay at Platinum. ^^ The calendars, and, um... small. Hard to describe. Just slightly larger than the size of a DSi. Probably around the size of an XL. (I just looked around the room for things to compare it to, and my eyes landed on my 3DS... XD)

The Zelda Collector's Edition! I always wanted that! XD This guy at GameStop wouldn't leave me alone about it, before I had LoZ and AoL... I think I was preordering SS, and I mentioned that I was on a valiant quest to play every game, and he pulled that out. I really wanted it. But I didn't have the money. D:

Seriously, how can someone hate TP THAT much? A lot of my friends bought it, and while they don't love it nearly as much as me, at least they haven't sold it. One of my friends is actually borrowing my copy of TP right now, haha, so I can't even play it. She really wanted to try it. (And I want to try 3 Heart Cave of Ordeals again. D:) Your friend should get SS instead. :P
    R
Oh no... You followed me here!?!

    *Flees*
Yes, ninth of June 2012. I'm not sure the wiki even existed In June 2011. If I'd been editing for that long, I'd totally be a Wiki Scribe right now. XD (Unless all my edits really fail...)

If you think a tiny little violin is hard to retune, try a 34-string harp! :P My harp gets really out of tune when we take it places. In the winter, I was playing Ballad of the Goddess at my school's talent show, and it got SO out of tune jut by taking it in the cold. So out of tune, in fact, that a string broke. o_O One broke at my audition, and then another broke at my actual PERFORMANCE. It was not fun. I had to last minute change everything in the song to avoid using that stupid string. -.- So what's wrong with the D string? Haha.

As far as Mario games, my first ever video game EVER was Mario Kart: Double Dash for the GameCube. We got a GameCube with Animal Crossing and Mario Kart for Christmas a long time ago (my sister and I, I mean). And before that, I played Mario Kart 64 on my cousin's Nintendo 64. (At I think that's what it was. I was so young, I just knew it was a lot of fun and didn't care what game it was. :P) And then I have Sunshine, like I said, and Mario Party 6 and Mario Party DS (which I've literally played ONCE), and New SMB for DS. Now that I'm looking at all my old games that I haven't played in a while, I want to suggest you get Wario Ware for GameCube if you get one. Because that game was so freaking fun. My sister and I played it for hours when we were little. Oh, and Soul Calibur II is extremely fun, AND it has Link in it, so there. ^^

I'm not sure I totally understood your whole story (I got confused), but yay! Majora's Mask and The Wind Waker! XD But... why would you save it on an SD card? Aww. Maybe you could have COPIED it to the SD card... Well, at least you'll get it now! :D It used to be that you could go to GameStop and get a used GC for $20... or maybe $30... something like that.

Last year, I was Platinum, and there were only two prizes to choose from: one for gold, one for platinum. Platinum was some kind of Mario pin set, and Gold was a calendar. I needed a calendar, so I chose that (mainly 'cuz I was hoping Skyward Sword stuff would be on it since the game wasn't out), and now I really regret it. The calendars are soooo small. D: And I've kept it on January until this month because SS happened to be January. XD And Kid Icarus is August, I think, and OoT 3D is November, so I'll change it those months...

Anyway, this year I barely made Platinum again (literally at 600 coins). I'm NOT choosing that stupid calendar, and I don't really care about the game downloads (I already have MM D:) so I think I'll get one of the two Platinum prizes. Can you see them? One is Mario playing cards (which my sister wants) and the other is a set of three posters (Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Skyward Sword, Kid Icarus: Uprising). I kind of want the posters because of Uprising and SS... but I don't know. D:
Well... you got me there. If that twelve year old was some kind of writing genius, then yeah, you might not make it. XD

Yes, I do live pretty far... but we're stopping at my aunt's house, too, and probably going to visit some beaches or other attractions along the way. The last time we did this, I was nine, I think, so I don't remember it too well... but I know it was a long time, haha. And my perfect streak is still going on! I've editing at least once per day ever since June 9th. ^^

Wow... when you first said that, I was very surprised. The first thing that came to my mind was, "How the heck did you learn the TP Trailer Theme?!" XD Then you said you had your grandparents' pianos, haha. Now I understand. :P My grandparents also have a piano, like, I said, but I don't like it too much; it's so old, and the keys are sticky, haha. My aunt had a beautifully grand piano that I absolutely LOVED, and since she was moving to this small house on the beach, they were going to send us our piano, but... I don't know what happened to that. I guess they decided to take it with them after all. D: There's also the problem that where they live in Canada is much more humid than where I live, so the piano might not like it here. That happened years ago when my grandpa gave me a violin to learn... it got a huge crack in it from the dryness, and that's why I'm not learning violin anymore.

I'll go check out that avatar in a moment! I've never played Super Mario Galaxy 2... I played Super Mario Sunshine, though... XD I had friends in elementary school (like, third grade) that I always talked about video games with. One of them said Super Mario Sunshine was the greatest game of all time. So I got it. And I still thought Super Smash Bros. Melee was better. :P ...Until I finally beat TWW, and then...

I would love if you made me a Live with it Wolf-Boy cover. (In all honesty, I was hoping you'd suggest that; I knew that you'd reviewed and said you liked it, and it's my personal favorite oneshot, so yeah... ^^) And Shards of Time sounds good, but I'm really looking forward to Live with it, Wolf-Boy, hahaha.

I'm sending in my writing contest entry today, and I'm incredibly nervous. I don't think I've ever put this much work into a oneshot before. I keep adding stuff, and then having to take out something else due to the 500 word limit... It's been anywhere between 480 words and 601 over the last few days... and I've finally got it to a perfect one-hundred, and I'm still not satisfied! XD
Honestly, I don't think that the writing ability between an eleven-year-old and a twelve-year-old will be THAT much different... XD

Oh, I didn't switch harps, haha. It's the exact same one. The difference is that the original was filmed on my awful-quality cell phone, at night with a faint light on, and I placed the camera really close to the instrument. I filmed the next with my iPad during the day with the windows wide-opened.^^

Yes, I'm going to Canada. And we're driving, too, and probably making stops along the way, so I might not have Wi-Fi for a couple of nights. I'm going to ruin my perfect streak of editing at least one page on the wiki every single day. XD We rented a harp last year we were up there, but we might not do that again. Fortunately, my grandma has a piano (and it's a REAL piano – not a keyboard like we have!), so I'll still be able to play. Maybe I will still enter the contest; it all depends on the theme, I suppose. If a song I already know fits, I'll totally go for it, haha.

I normally don't like reading mangas online, and I have no idea what possessed me to read that LA one. Possibly it's because I've been in SUCH a Link's Awakening mood lately. I have no idea why I've been thinking about it so much.

Well, I'll probably get my sister to make me a cover eventually... maybe. XD But if you want to draw one, please go ahead! I have a very specific image in mind for Awakening and TToSW, though, haha. If you want to make a Shards of Time one, or one for one of my oneshots, that'd make me happy. ^^

Yep, I'll change the text to Skywaker! I just have to get on our main computer, which I haven't been able to do lately. It got a virus a few days ago.
Whoops. In my last post, I said "...age is a factor" when I meant to say "Age ISN'T a factor". XD I mean, the Editor thread specifically says that there is no age requirement, and I have no idea why the Writers would be any different...

Yeah, I have no idea how I'm winning. XD After hearing the others, I really thought mine was just mediocre – gods, the piano medley is gorgeous, and Pendido and BMB Guitar sound awesome! Thanks for voting, though. PK Flash voted too. My sister wants to get on and vote for me, but I won't let her, since I feel like it's cheating, haha. People are going to think I'm telling everyone to vote for me. :P

Now, don't tell anyone, but I'm thinking about doing Blizetta's theme for this next contest. :P I'm thinking I can do the top part on harp (you know what I'm talking about, right? The little harmony thing that repeats the whole song?) and the rest on piano. I'm just hoping no one will steal my idea, haha. (I mean, doing that song... I love that song!) After this week I'll be going on vacation without my harp, though, so I probably won't enter the next few weeks. D: (Unless they're piano worthy! But no one cares about piano songs in comparison to harp, since everyone seems to play it. XD)

I'm thinking about writing my own letter to Nintendo, just to tell them to translate LA. I'm very serious about this, haha. I want it to happen, though it probably never will. So which of the manga do you have? The Four Swords Adventures volumes are the best ones. They're the only one where Link has some kind of personality. XD I really enjoyed the mangas the first time I read them (OoT especially – I read it before I played the game, so it convinced me to get it), but rereading through they're kind of... cheesy. ^^ They're not bad, and the art is awesome, but still. Some parts are great, others make me cringe.

I have not seen those How to Draw tutorials! Like I said, I don't draw, and my sister refuses to draw any Zelda art for me – not even a cover for my fanfic. D: I have a How to Draw Zelda Characters book, though...

You know, speaking of Fanfiction, I wrote my entry for that writing contest I was talking about! ^^ However, it ended up being 601 words, when the limit is 500. I've now cut it down to 529, but I love everything so much... I don't want to take anything out!

EDIT: I was about to make some silly joke about "Oh, so my avatar that I made you isn't good enough, huh?" when I remembered that it said "Peepsie" on it. XD If you want, I can easily change the name on that avatar to read Skywaker. If you're happy with your current avatar, though, then that's fine. I won't be offended – I just wanted to let you know that it's an option! ^^ (Who made that, anyway?)
I have all the Zelda mangas that were released in United States, but there is no official translation of LA. I read it on History of Hyrule. So freaking awesome. In your letter to Nintendo, you should mention that everyone would LOVE a translation of it. I'd totally buy it, no matter the price. LA is one of my favorite games. ^^ My sister draws manga too. I can't draw anything, haha.

You should apply for Article Writer if you want! Even if you're denied, you can try again! I was looking through the applicants, and most of them are rather young, too; I saw a 12 year old get accepted, so age is a factor. (And you don't have to tell them your age...)

Realm Overworld is my favorite overworld from any Zelda game. Period. Manbo's Mambo is fun, too, haha. I'm more of a fan of the slow, dramatic songs, though. ^^ (Eagle's Tower, for example...)

By the way: the music contest's theme is Battle this week.
Spirit Tracks music! And orchestrated Link's Awakening Music! I think those games have the best music. :P LA's music was just SO fantastic at evoking emotions... Face Shrine and Southern Face Shrine music fit the mood perfectly. My gods, I love that game soooo much. XD I want to apply as an article writer and write an article about how underrated the game is, haha.

There will be more music contests. There's supposed to be one every week from now on. ^^ I can't wait to hear your violin piece!

Aww, that's too bad! I wish I had an NES, or that my parents had been interested in that when it came out! They're actually pretty cheap online, though, but my parents won't let me buy anything more online. I'd go on a shopping spree if I could, haha. (I want a Link plush doll!)

I feel like this response is rather short, but I was sure what to say in regards to some of the subjects. XD

EDIT: I just read the Link's Awakening manga for the first time. Holy Goddesses. That made me love the game even more. It was such a fantastic rendition of the game, I was nearly in tears. ^^
Aww! D: That would have been awesome! You should record it anyway, even if it's not for the contest! For something of that caliber, you'd probably get featured on ZD. ^^ Or you could wait a few weeks and see if another theme comes up that would allow for that opportunity... (But you could still record and post it in the meantime, haha.)

I used to have a DS Lite. But, you see, it kind of broke. Badly. The whole top screen fell off and hung by a thread, which, somehow, miraculously allowed it to work still. XD Unfortunately, the microphone didn't work. As I remember, Spirit Tracks just came out, and that game used the microphone a lot, so I actually had to borrow my friend's DS to complete it (my sister's was broken too; the top screen blanked out, and the L and R buttons didn't work, and the screen was uncalibrated). Finally, we both went and traded in our DS Lites for DSi systems. I mean, it wasn't like in the future I was going to regret that decision because a DSi wouldn't be able to play GameBoy Advance games and – oh, wait...

I WISH I could have all the Nintendo systems. I want a Nintendo 64. D:

I've never heard that story about the sixth grade class! That's so amazing! Nintendo, this is why we love you. Then you should go for it, and send them a message.

We need a game with SS controls/cutscenes, TWW emotions, TP graphics (actually, Wii U tech demo graphics), MM characters/sidequests, and OoT-style story. XD

Ah, well, you'll find a harp teacher eventually! ...Hopefully! XD
I don't mind super long replies. It just takes me longer to respond than usual. XD

You need to record your music soon, because the contest ends tomorrow. As for not wanting to show your face, just record the audio then. You don't need a picture. XD Yeah, don't steal my Ballad of the Goddess! :P I'd love to hear you play violin, though – like I've said, it's one of my favorite instruments that I don't play.

Well, hey, you have a lot more than the average person, haha. I don't have a DS Lite. I'd be SO happy if I did. (The GBA doesn't have a backlight, so I can't see what I'm doing too well in a dark location. Of course, the Oracles can't play on the DS, and I beat all the other GBA games, so I guess it doesn't matter...)

Haha, I'd be curious to see if they responded to. I've heard of people who get Nintendo's responses – nothing major, you know, but still, they get a response. (Some guy asked about the Zelda timeline...)

Ah, that's a good idea, using the Notes app. I think I'm content with my purchase regardless, though. It's much easier to already have it in a Word Document and just e-mail it to myself. I've used it for school, too, by e-mailing projects to my teachers. ^^

WW used to be my favorite, but I think I'm leaning more on Skyward Sword now. XD I also LOVE Link's Awakening, though, and LoZ. MM used to be up there, too, but I haven't played it in so long... and I did a lot of it on a walkthrough, so I have no concept of its difficulty. :P

Just search around! There's probably a harp teacher somewhere! I mean, there were three, I think, that were within driving distance for me! (Really far driving distance, but still! XD)

...I'm starting to think that ZD doesn't have a character limit like Central. :P
I found an imposter! O: There's one for Red (Leafy) too! And that Hero of Time guy's name sounds familiar... :P

Yeah, I'm sorry for not responding earlier. I wanted to give you a big huge long reply, and I was lazy, and plus, I wanted to respond to you on ff.net so that I didn't seem like a total slacker. (Even if that's the truth!)

So you know what I discovered? Not only is there a writing contest that I will certainly enter, but a music one as well! You just need to do a cover of a Zelda song! Either of my harp videos would work, but I'm going to record an improved version of Ballad of the Goddess on harp and send it in. :D Or I could play something on piano – I have two medleys that I could easily record (assuming I can still remember the order, since it's been so long...). You should record something on violin and send it in! ^^

    Now to your first message:

NINTENDO, THIS IS EXACTLY WHY YOU SHOULD HAVE RENAMED THE WII U WHILE YOU HAD THE CHANCE. Just like with the 3DS, everyone thinks it's an improved Wii – which it's NOT! It's an entirely new console! Just as the 3DS is a completely new console! It's more powerful, has better graphics, unique features, and new games! GODS DANGIT NINTENDO!

    ...My rant is over.

I've only paid money on an iPad app ONCE, and I don't intend to do it again. I'd rather buy Twilight Princess for GC or something. The one time I paid was to get the Quickoffice app, so I could type my stories on the go. ^^ It was an awesome purchase, and it really let me make seem progress in my fanfics! ...Well, until I got writer's block, that is...

You should get Ocarina. I love Ocarina (and so does most of the fandom, in case you hadn't noticed all the OoT fanboys :P). Not my favorite, but definitely one of the best in the franchise. I like it SO much better than Twilight Princess, at least.

There was, like, one music store that was ANYWHERE near us that sold harps, and they just closed down. XD I bought my harp from an independent seller, actually. Same with renting – we rented from a harp teacher.
Oh, cool. I hope you'll get to stay longer next time. (:
New Haven? Oh yeah that's bad with traffic lol. And there's always ambulences going everywhere, and cop cars are everywhere too.
See, I had that same mindset. I thought a Zelda-themed 3DS might come out eventually – which it did, unfortunately. However, when I bought Ocarina of Time 3D the first day it came out, my parents weren't happy that I'd gotten a game I couldn't even play, so I promised to buy a 3DS. And I did. And now I'm an Ambassador, so I guess it was a good choice in the end. XD

WHAT? You can play Epona's Song and Song of Time? Or do you mean you just figured that out in freestyle mode? XD I have it too, but I don't understand how to get the LoZ theme! It's labeled "Premium"... does that mean you HAVE to pay to get it? D: That reminds me – have you ever played around with the ocarina in OoT? You can learn full songs. I learned Epona's Song, Song of Storms (kind of; it's hard), Song of Time, Kakariko Village, Fi's theme, and a few others.

...Wait, do you have Ocarina of Time? I forget. D: Which games do you have?

Well, triplets are simple when you're just playing the melody. It's when you're putting them with other notes that it gets hard, haha. I can sing part of Want You Gone just from the amount of times I've listened to it, but I haven't actually made an effort to memorize every line. I guess I'll go look up that song, but I'd prefer to learn songs from a game I've played, so I know the context. They mean so much more to me when I know where it's played. ^^

And you've probably heard of Dragon Quest IX from me. XD

Harps are expensive. If you wanted to just learn, you should probably rent one. That's how I started off.
    That's good. :)
Well, I'm sorry you couldnt' stay longer. Maybe you can go back some time.
lol yeah, traffic in CT is horrible.
Yeah, that is what the Ambassador program is. I don't think they'll have it for the XL, though... the reason for the Ambassador program was because they lowered the price of the 3DS, so people who paid full price got benefits, I guess. XD Man, I want an XL, but I already have my 3DS and a lovely OoT 3D case for it, so I won't be getting one...

AoL is impossible. That's what my signature says, and I'm sticking to it.

I'll have to try out that app. Is it for iPad? That sounds really useful! You're right... violin does kind of remind me of a ship, haha. No clue why. Violin's one of my favorite instruments to listen to, though. I wish I could learn it. And I want to learn theremin. Annnnd organ. Because no one plays the organ. XD Oh, and ocarina, of course!

Timing is a major problem for me, too! (As I think I said last message, haha.) You know the ending of the TP Trailer theme, with all of those triplets in the right hand and the melody in the left? That took me FOREVER to get right. And I still can't play main LoZ theme because of timing. I hate triplets with a passion. :P I've been meaning to learn some Portal songs... eventually. I've never learned any video game music from anything besides Zelda, though. ...Oh, actually, I learned two Dragon Quest IX songs. But that's it! (You should totally get Dragon Quest IX, by the way... I love that game SO much!)

No way! :D Are you a brony? Do you watch MLP? I can't remember if I've asked you that. Your uncle should make me a shirt! ...Well, I guess I don't really want to give you my address, so never mind. :P
