There's a super fast checkpoint one in the Hebra Mountains where you have to shield surf across the top of the mountains in no time at all but (a) you can't actually see where you're going and (b) it's on the far edge of the map and if you fall it's a hell of a climb back up.

Yes, but you can't save anywhere on the island or partially through the quest, so if you screw up you have to do it all over. It's not hard but it can be tedious, and the only recommendations I have are (a) take your time and (b) plot your path from the orbs to the pedestals before you actually...
