This is a theory extrapolated from the larger thread by Wolfess on Zelda Dungeon. Basically, the idea is that Hylia is a lesser goddess than the three golden goddesses but was tasked by man to watch after the Triforce. One big reason for this is the distinction in the Skyward Sword intro between...
Definitely, it's funny how well Ganondorf worked in favor of Ocarina of Time while in Twilight Princess it led to some of the game's biggest criticisms.
The one buzzkill may just be a shoutout from the developers, a la Majora's Mask in the ALBW shop, or the Skyward Sword painting in OoT 3DS, but when taken from a story perspective it really does open up pandora's box and led me to interpret the gap between dimensions the way I did.
Interesting to think of it this way, perhaps then in this Adult Timeline as Hyrule fell to the evil of Ganondorf Termina fell to the evil of Majora through Skull Kid, both meeting a perilous end.
Interesting point you bring. From the perspective of the player in Majora's Mask, the only way in to Termina seems to be through that one doorway, but I'd wager to say there are other ways outside of that corridor that are just never shown to the player. Furthermore, I'd venture to say that the...
Alright, so I've seen maybe a few threads on the topic here on any Zelda fansite/reddit but none that go into too much detail. I went ahead and created another theory video about the Gap Between Dimensions. It's so mysterious because it's only ever mentioned once.
It's easy to say that...
That's a great point. Makes me wonder how the geography of the Zelda games is accurately represented. For example, is Ocarina of Time Hyrule 100% what Hyrule would look like in the Zelda Universe? I've heard the theory that it's merely representations, and that's how completely different biomes...
First and foremest is a bit of background for the YouTube audience. Assuming you know about Demise's reincarnation and the Split Timeline, then skip around to the "quote" in this post if you want to read still after watching.
We already know a lot about Ganondorf, whose appearance takes place...
He was on for a bit longer, then I think he changed his name or something like that? Not sure about the aftermath-- anyway it's much less interesting than the rumors themselves
Oh yeah, I should probably include that and the Odyssey of Hyrule in the OP. Also, Apparently Video Gamer X was a pretty weird guy as well... Just check this out
Got it from this lovely article http://www.khakain.com/wiki2/images/c/c0/Fichtl4.jpg
Yeah it's sad I wish games were more mysterious these days, it seems like if it's a video game then someone can just break it apart and find out everything with in it. However sometimes developers use that to their advantage, like in the case with Undertale
