My parents will sometimes ask questions, especially if they happen to be in the room long enough. Currently, my N64 and Gamecube are in the basement where my mom's sewing/office is, so if I want to play, she tends to watch. The most memorable question was when right out of the blue, she asked, "Is Zelda a girl?" Of course she thought Link was Zelda, but how it was phrased just made me burst out laughing.
Yeah, the great fairy in TP was a bit random. Even though there was no magic, I still think they could have added her somewhere. The game felt odd without a few great fairies to go to.

Whenever the great fairy shows up, I cringe, especially if my parents are in the room. They already think Zelda is weird. Imagine seeing a half-naked girl with a creepy laugh suddenly flying up on screen and laying in possibly suggestive poses? lol Yeah, Twilight Princess had a better one. She's the least creepy in the entire series and her design was pretty cool. I would've liked to seen her show up more and not just the Cave of Ordeals. Definitely agree with you about the hair, though. lol

Yeah, I'm sure that was the idea. I think it was also going off the fact that fairies aren't typically depicted as wearing a whole lot of clothes. Maybe, if the graphics had been more advanced, they might have been elegant, but as is, they kind of fail in that aspect. That laugh sure didn't help.

Cool. My specialities lie in ALttP, OoT, MM, WW, TP and the original LoZ. The others are just the ones I played through just to play them. The ones I've listed are all the ones that I've beaten multiple times, and 100%ed.

My friend showed me Wind Waker a few years ago. Since then, I've played and beaten every game.

I must admit, all the fairy designs are awesome. I even sort of like the design of the N64 great fairies; the polygons just made them look scary...

That sounds really good. I love the Zelda Theory section as well. Full of really cool stuff.

Yeah, they can, but they have such a cool design! This is definitely a good place to meet Zelda fans. I haven't been a member for very long, but everyone here is nice. Hope you have fun!
