Yeah, that would be annoying. Having listened to these songs, I think I can perhaps see what people are saying. FFXIII's soundtrack is amazing. That's pretty difficult to argue with. But I think perhaps the songs aren't quite as unique or iconic as some you'd see in other Final Fantasy games' soundtracks. Perhaps that has to do with the orchestral aspect of many of them, but meh. Due to this I think that the soundtrack will generally be thought of slightly less by most people, but that doesn't change the fact that they're amazing songs.

Yes, Silent Hill is completely twisted. I'm staying the hell away from it. There was a movie, yes, and oddly enough I did enjoy it. It almost made me want to play the games, but further research turned me way the hell off. There's absolutely no beauty or style to the Silent Hill games, IMO, whereas the movie did have a little. It's still hella disturbing, so maybe you should keep away from it too.

That makes sense, RE has always had some pretty cool characters. And crushes on video game characters are fine. :bleh: And no worries about it being a late reply. Most of mine are late anyway.

Snow's Theme was the epicness.

I listened to the Battle and Boss themes, as well as Lightning's. I like the Battle theme a lot. The other two were okay. I dunno, I should probably listen to the boss theme again. Any recommendations? Anyway, so far I like it a bit less than prior games personally, but it was still good.

Well, if it's different, that right there will mean people will have different opinions of it. Just as some people don't like certain genres, you know? It's just not their thing. I don't think it's an ignorance issue, really...

LOLNO. Resident Evil and Silent Hill are both survival horror games, yes, but they're completely different. RE has suspense and shot horror, mixed with an action feel sometimes. SH is psychological horror. Really screwed up, twisted nightmarish crap. Nothing aesthetic about it, either, just random horrors. It's really twisted. XP

It was Game Informer's comment on FFXIII's audio in their review of the game. Just their opinion I suppose. Maybe they were comparing it to previous Final Fantasy games or something. :hmm:

No, not at all. Resident Evil is a survival horror, so it's designed to scare. I heard RE5 is less scary (have yet to play it), so perhaps that's why you've been able to get through it. But anyway, yeah, not weird at all. It's kind of to be expected. But seriously, if RE scares you, NEVER play Silent Hill. -.- I avoid that like the plague, and I like Resident Evil.

What? FFXIII music = unimpressive? Who said THAT!? The boss theme was amazing, the majority of the stage music was amazing, and the battle theme was amazing, on par with FFVII's battle theme even.

lolz, not only do I have Lightning as my PS3 background, but she's also my PS3 skin. I thought the ending was pretty sad too, but it was kinda of sad in that good way, if you know what I mean, because Vanille and Fang became the heroes when their original focus was to be the enemy. Not like in X where no one got a happy ending....

I'm working on all the missions right now. Got the best upgrades for Lightning and Snow, but that's it. 2,000,000 gil is WAAAAAY too expensive to upgrade all the time.
