  • Oh, I see. No, they haven't appeared in any other games. Galactic Federation Soldiers first appeared in Prime 2, and the Ing only appeared in that, so there's been no opportunity for soldier possession in other games. As for older Metroid games, I've actually never played the first. I might recommend Super Metroid, especially to see if you're even into the 2D style of gameplay. :)

Haha, that's true. I don't know if they're as bad as Silent Hill, but they are very disturbing. It think it's the Dead Hand all the way for me. I like the creepy monsters, but I don't think a Zelda game should be entirely composed of them, like how Twilight Princess kinda was.
If you're using it in OU be sure to give it T-Tar or Hippo support. The bad HP is a shame, but it can be quite a pain to kill.
lol. I said only minor ones and you give me the biggest one you know?! I never stayed till the end of the third day, what's happened? do you need to start every thing all over agin?
Indeed they are, annoying to face though. You don't really find a better Special Wall.
I played till the snow temple on an emulator, but then I thought that buying an N64 would be much more fun.

I would like to know some glitches but only minor ones, I don't want anything that will help me, like full magic all time and health.
i got it for 23 dollars, 45 dollars for the shipping. lol . It work great I love it so much;)
recently? well Im playing ALttP right now, a little bit Mario & Luigi SSS and mario kart.
Oh, and I ordered an N64 with MM from ebay two weeks ago... MM arrived yesterday but im still waiting for the n64.
    ~you?
Odd, huh? What do you mean used it before?

Basically the troopers were possessed by Ing. I thought it made sense... :?
I had the same feelings about it. I played through it again recently, and I didn't mind it as much, probably because I was better and it became less of an issue. The idea was generally that you were supposed to use 'em both frequently, so you'd refill the other while you weren't using it. Not sure they pulled it off well, but I understand the reasoning. I think they were trying to make it so you could get all the beams sooner and actually use all of them interchangeably, as opposed to in Prime 1, where basically as soon as you get a new beam it replaces the last one as the best weapon, the only exception being the Beam Troopers.

Agreed. Prime 2 was pretty linear overall. You only really had to backtrack once, so it wasn't very Metroid-ish, IMO. -.-
Ah, okay. I just started Prime 3 and damn has it blown me away. Too soon to say if I like it better than the first Prime (which I prefer over Prime 2), but so far so good. :D

And yeah, the story and characters are so far a major plus. The voice-acting surprised me a lot, but it's awesome!
Metroid Prime is awesome. In some ways I feel it can be a little weaker than some of the older 2D Metroids, especially Super Metroid, but they're still great. I especially love the story of the Prime games. Really interesting stuff.

Other M looks wicked, I'm damn excited, especially since I'm a fan of 2D Metroid. I can't wait until it comes out, although I'm not entirely sure when I'll be able to pick it up. :(
I did not, actually. I have a lame tendency to procrastinate and avoid doing things, even if I want to. I can be kind of a loser sometimes, trying to fix that...

I'll check it out later, but I do know the gist. Sounds interesting. I'm not much for bugs that cheat the game, though, I usually only do silly ones that are just fun as a one-time thing. :P

There was a bug in Metroid Prime that I loved where you could turn into the ball form and boost off a certain ledge, and you would suddenly out of nowhere fly all around the room. It was hilarious. :xd:
