i am with Xinnamin on this, he is old enough not to have a guardian, but to young to have children. also, in TWW, the story was (largely) based on his family members, but what we know of SS' plot shows no need for relatives

in the Wind Waker, for all that it was a gorgeous game, the water looked awful, so i think we should have clear water

that is so infuriating they are not giving any clues as to the story in that aspect

there could be only a crossbow, which would fix this problem, or the game could ask you if you are right or left handed at the beginning and have the bow be drawn differently depending on what you say

i like the idea of the slingshot being useful because i dislike the idea of having an item that you use once, and then sits in the inventory doing nothing. also, it will make it more difficult to use the bow, if it takes longer to shoot, so it will be less of a pull-out-and-kill-everything tool...

i am glad that these are not the final graphics. they look great, but a little more polish is needed on the textures, and some of the enemies like the bokoblin

perhaps the girl is in hyrule, and uses the Skyward sword to communicate with Link once he gets it. then she could tell him that he needs to come to land to do something, which will in turn, cause him to need to return to Skyloft, and so on
