Hiatus again. Friends know where to find me. Otherwise I don't really have any interest in LoZ right now or much interest in talking about it anymore. TotK was not worth my hype.
Could just be a fantasy creature in-universe, given the only mermaid I'm aware of is the one in Link's Awakening & I am... not sure if she is "real" due to that. Wouldn't be the first time something in-game doesn't match up with what we actually see. Such as this strange horned, winged old man...
Treadmill for sure, since I can jog in my underwear & not get arrested. Sounds like I am being silly here, but no I am serious since I can't stand sweating at all & that's one of the major things that makes me never want to work out while outdoors. That & like 100% humidity on the regular.
Hookay, surgery scheduled on the 17th if nothing changes. I have several rocks in me, one of which nearly killed me last week from an infection, so I will be happy to have it out of me regardless of the methods by this point...
Yeah, I get it. I have found a pretty okay middle-ground with my pain over the years, but it still takes forever & that's something I want to refine more. I bought a tablet recently to try to do that. I DO do simplified marker work with color sometimes, just it's still very messy since my hands...
I don't, or I don't yet. If I do manage to draw more that I want to post here, I might start one, but most of what I draw is not appropriate for this website, to put it simply (think like, Devilman sort of stuff). I wanted to do Linktober, but time & health got away from me, haha. If I get back...
Artwork is extremely hard for me to pull off due to chronic pain, so over the years I have had to develop a whole new 'basic' style like this with minimal detail & shading compared to what I used to do. So, that has kind of made me wonder if that's the problem, I guess? Not enough detail, so...
Thank you! I'll probably post an update the day after when it gets around to that. I'm being seen on this upcoming Monday about it, but unsure when the actual surgery will be or what they are going to suggest, since the stone is pretty big.
Yeah, sorry. Had a lot going on yesterday (hospital). I did some Digimon art for Halloween on my Digimon blog after folks asked for it, but got frustrated with the general response. Not sure if I'll do more in the future since it's been this way for a few years now.
Haha, almost died. I went to the ER yesterday for ignoring my kidney stone pain (as I have chronic stones that tend to pass on their own) & it had turned into a life-threatening infection throughout my body. I was afraid to go since every time I get stones, nobody believes me & doctors act like...
Yeah, I have a Japanese dictionary in my desk that I regularly use for translating small items & virtual pet things. So I would say I still use one. I'd probably still use an English one if I had it handy, since sometimes it just feels better. Internet of course makes it moot if I'm at a PC, though.
Hmm... prooobably Banjo & Kazooie, if I want to be basic, given that was THE game for me as a kid (other than every Mario).
Otherwise I may vote for Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2. Or maybe Malroth from Dragon Quest Builders 2, for their stories.
BEEDLE. However, I am highly biased as a man who raises bugs IRL, including large beetles long ago. I wish he'd talk even more about the insects of Hyrule.
