Id say the Iron shielded moblins were the hardest till i finally figured out how to kill them with the sword in the end of the game. Also, id say the final boss was the hardest person couse of his second phase. But again, once you learn the technique to kill him the entire battle became easy.

I felt the ancient cistern was a little too easy.. the only part i had trouble doing was trying to figure out the combination on the first locked door.

well sorry! but i didnt notice the 6 hearts at the beginning of the game lol if only i could change the name of the thread... would help if someone could tell me how.. or do i just make a new thread

oh... well i never noticed the 6 hearts i had always assumed i had 3 lol

I believe you can lol they only drop the heart container after every boss you dont have to pick it up

Anyone doing this? I mean i think this would be the hardest 3 heart challenge in the zelda series... by the time you hit the 3rd temple enemies 1 hit you (and the stupid electric swords will take out 2 hearts)

yes but it is still playable which i like alot! i mean i hate usin emulators partly for the fact that my dad thinks they are dangerous and i cant use them on the computer anymore but also that it is illegal (even though no one ever catches you but still).

i dont understand..... how can you guys think this game is SOO hard. i mean the first time u play this game its probly really hard (which is what it was for me) because ur just startin to get used to the game and when u beat the first level your like "ok ok i can deal with this, this is good"...

cmon guys bombs were the best =P you can never get tired of blowing stuff up and then all of the sudden finding the entrance to the 9th dungeon

well, i guess ill just go through the game the normal way then (without the first heart container couse i skipped it intending to do a 3 heart run) Kind of a bummer that i cant do a 3 heart run. oh well i can still have fun. And @blubb im pretty sure you can get a lvl 4 sword and a green tunic...

I was replaying ALttP and as i finished saving zelda i was stuck with a tough decision, take the first heart container or not. I hadnt planned on doing one when i started replaying this but it came to mind when i got to that point. And i wouldnt do a crazy 3 heart run with tons of restrictions...
