I'm something else, one of those rare types of people I guess...apparently she thinks she doesn't deserve someone as good as me, but I'm making it clear to her that she does, heh.

Time will tell what happens, I surely will have to find work eventually though, it works that way for just about everyone.

Yep, Canadian born and raised, and sad part is I keep seeing reasons for my girlfriend to live with me here, but she won't be able to visit until the Summer of next year and won't be fully moving here for 5 years at least...my poor girl, her life is just so hard and unfair, when we're together in person I'll be sure to treat her right because she deserves it more than anything. I mean, I treat her right online and in video chats as well, but when we're physically together with no screens in the way I'll treat her with the same amount of love and support.

Anyways, I just threw some résumés around a few days ago, haven't seen anything come from that yet though--but I also weekly have been attending meetings with employment services and they're doing the best they can to help me find a job, I'll have to get one sooner or later, just gotta keep trying.

Well, minimum wage here in Canada is $10 an hour, so yep--40 hours a week is roughly a full time job, and then times those 40 hours by the 10 to get around $400 a week, and then times that 400 by 10 weeks which is little over two Months and you'll get $4000 o,o

Indeed, if I were to get a basic job in my area little over two Months pay would get me $4000 if my math is right, so hopefully I can get a job soon and start working on that. Actually, wait, that sounds a little iffy...maybe I need to do more Math >,>

Yep, I'm still 18 and she's 17, so I have 5 years until she's gonna choose to come live here in Canada...as she is about 5 hours away from me driving wise in Indiana.

So I still have a lot of time and she says I shouldn't worry about this stuff too much yet, but I can't help it, the sooner I set four grand aside the better as I don't want's that money to get mixed in with bills and stuff later on o,o

I just need to build a foundation for the future me and my girlfriend want to have.

Then afterwards it will all be about video games and other stuff unless need be otherwise =P

I just want to save up $4000 to put aside as soon as I can, and then anything else will go towards future house and car bills among other stuff, uh-huh.

I suppose, I more so just come here because I have a lot of friends around here and have become a well known and respective member, if I were to just randomly disappear people would likely notice...which is more or less why I need work, it's either find a job or lose the internet, and I chose to find a job -,o

Yeah, there's a bridge in the city nearby my town that's connecting Canada to the U.S and she's not too far away from the other side of this bridge, roughly 5 hours away in regards to driving distance.

I see, well that's cool, and will likely be my answer whenever I get home from work someday...would be right on the computer afterwards most days, or at least I'd find myself online some point during most days x3

As for me, aside from still looking for work I'm great, got a girl of my own who lives in Indiana now...lives about 5 hours away from my part of Ontario even, we won't be meeting up for a few years though, but that's alright because we can at least Video Chat on Skype and stuff. I know, you mentioned that before, but you shouldn't feel like these other people are better than you or anything...nah, everybody finds someone at a different time, you just gotta keep being patient and eventually it'll have to happen--that's what I think anyways, just some cryptic wisdom

Yeah, I hope so. When the college kids go back... well... you have seniority there, right? So maybe she will give you some more hours.

Also, you plan to volunteer at the Shedd? It's always so busy there, I'm sure they can use all the help they can get.
