Age of Calamity triggers me. There's no way a time egg could possibly be involved in preventing an apocalypse caused by an entity within the earth. There's no way a time egg could save someone's life and be the epoch of a new chronology.
Halfway through watching the Bee Movie in full for the first time in several years, and, uh, yeah, it's legit unironically good. I wish they did more with Hector, the store employee. That scene was hilarious.
Just watched that "Eggman's Mean Time Machine" video on the official Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube channel, and I found it to be a surprisingly wonderful celebration of Sonic's 30th anniversary. With all of the Eggman/Robotnik-related stuff being released on that channel... you think this is all leading up to Eggman in Smash? Iizuka did say something about the 30th anniversary being a "big year" for Sonic.
Have you read Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy? It's pretty funny and I think it would fit your sense of humor well. The stories are kinda all over the place, so I would recommend the ultimate Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy, it's kinda a defenitve edition, and there's a lot of good backstory behind the making of and whatnot.
I'm not sure how taboo emulator talk is around here, but I just downloaded OpenEmu. A friend recommended it to me a while back, but now that I have a Mac I finally got it. Holy crap, assuming this isn't a scam this thing looks amazing.
So far so good. Chrono Trigger's running pretty well. Sucks that I'll have to redo all of that progress, though... eh, it's a good game, it'll be fine.
I'm watching Vinny Vinesauce's stream of Twin Snakes, and there's a lot I missed on my playthrough. Like Ocelot talking about his days in the GRU (a setup for MGS3).
