Forest Temple Recreated in Minecraft
Posted on May 01 2015 by Darrin W. Harr
Ever heard of a game called Minecraft? Sure you have. It’s the game that made its creator, Notch, a millionaire. Recently acquired by Microsoft, Minecraft is the best selling PC game to-date. With an incredible amount of 19 million sales, its no wonder this game is all over the Internet.
I myself have played quite a bit of Minecraft, ever since the game’s release in 2009. However, I’ve never made something as impressive as Imgur user democallister. He has created a full-scale replica of my personal favorite dungeon: the Forest Temple.
There is a total 30 captured images democallister has uploaded to the web of his recreation, and these screenshots are viewable in the gallery below. Each one takes us deeper and deeper into the blocky interior of the temple. Complete with paintings scattered across the walls and chests containing various treasures, this Forest Temple incarnate is very close to the original.
Have you ever set out to create something Zelda-esque in Minecraft? I know I have. Share your experiences with us in the comments below.
