Five Zelda Games on the 3DS eShop Charts

With the new attention Nintendo has finally put on downloadable content, their eShops for the 3DS and Wii U have tapped a whole new market that was being only halfheartedly satisfied before. Thankfully, this advent has given us the ability to download older Zelda games without having to buy the normally adjoining consoles, and recently, these retro downloadables have charted on the 3DS quite well. As of the nineteenth of August, five Zelda games have made it onto the 3DS download charts, taking the twelfth, fourteenth, sixteenth, seventeenth, and twentieth spots.

In addition to these charting games, Hyrule Warriors media dominates the first, second, and twentieth slots on the video download record. This is no doubt great for the franchise and illustrates once again that The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo’s most endearing series. Are you happy to see this fan resurgence?
