Masahiro Sakurai has revealed a new feature of the Gerudo Valley stage in the 3DS version of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. As was revealed in the recent Nintendo Direct, almost every stage will have its own Final Destination mode, leaving a blank, unobstructed platform to fight on, and Gerudo Valley is one of those special stages.

This is a rather good idea. The Final Destination version of any stage can be played in the new online “For Glory” mode, so those people that were so competitive in previous Super Smash Bros., and so fond of only playing in the Final Destination stage, can now get some variety in their matches. It seems that the developers are trying more to cater to the both casual and hardcore players.
Do you guys think this is a good idea? What stage would you like to play on in its Final Destination version? Leave a comment below!
