Feel Nostalgic With This Majora’s Mask Fan Animation

Animator MajorLink recently added to his portfolio of Zelda fan animations, with his Majora’s Mask animation titled “Behind the Mask”. The animation starts immediately after Link has defeated Majora and restored peace to Termina, adding in quite a few little moments between the game’s main characters that enhance an already emotion-filled ending. For example, the Skull Kid’s segment with the Giants reassuring him that he is their friend is expanded on and beautifully animated.

From that point, the video presents an added scene in which Link, the Skull Kid, Tatl, and Tael all play together before Link continues his journey, which adds another layer of depth to Majora’s Mask’s ending. There is also a bit of a surprise twist near the end of the video, which further displays MajorLink’s ability as a storyteller.
